Just a quick post tonight, I have the Trilogy Scrapbook club coming in the morning so I need to hit the hay, so I can tidy up in the morning.
Here's another one of the projects the ladies will be doing, I love this paper. What do I mean? I love all the Stampin' Up! DSP. I am gonna miss these In Colors when they go…but too funny, I can't even remember half the names of last years…ha!
Ink: Jetblack Stazon, Baja Breeze, Kiwi Kiss
Paper: Basic Gray, Kraft, Urban Oasis, Baja Breeze, Watercolor Paper
Misc: Basic Gray Taffeta ribbon, white gel pen
A few of you asked where I got the Ranger Nibs and the Sansador Solvent. I just bought them at Micheals.
Oh and if there is ever anything you want me to show on my blog, please let me know. I sometimes run out of ideas.
Eric made supper tonight, he has a new HAB lady and they made meatloaf, mashed potatoes, and brocolli, it was so good. They even served us up, meaning they put the food on my plate…OMG! I had to give some to Jeff, that was a lot of food. So hmmmm….don't think that was good on the detoxing, but Eric was so proud. He really likes this lady, so I hope it works out, and she stays a while.
OK, so let's talk Greys Anatomy. I think next season is going to start with the funerals of George and Izzie. I mean they are leaving right? It's almost like the writers are so mad at them for leaving that they are making sure they don't come back. I am usually pretty good about guessing shows as they go along, but I had no clue it was George that they brought in, I mean I figured it was gonna be someone they knew, but still George did not come to me, I mean I predicted yesterday he would die, but I think it was Jessica said he would join the Army so when he did, then my head just settled on that. I must have missed, or don't remember what the 007 was so that Grey knew who he was. And when the elevator that Izzie was in all dressed up like she was going to see Denny and the door opened I thought it was gonna be Denny, and there was handsome George, I am still bawling as I type this…what is wrong with me…it's just a tv show. Anyway, it ended where you definitely can hardly wait for it to start again. Just like the ending of Private Practice…Holy Moly.
OK enough TV talk, I gotta get some shut eye.
Have a great Friday, and thanks for stopping in!
Love the simplicity of this card. Just lovely.
That's a cute little card!! What is the measurement on it? You and Mum got me hooked on Grey's Anatomy – now I have to get all the rest of the seasons to watch from the beginning and catch up. I felt so bad for Alex, poor guy, but I was glad that she got her memory back before she passed. I had heard that she was leaving the show, but I didn't know George was. All the previews kept saying 1 doctor…..maybe he will survive…you know how on some shows they see the light and then then get drawn back down cause it isn't their time?? Izzie looked just beautiful in that dress in the elevator. Not sure if they did it in the US or not, but they were advertising her new movie with Gerard Butler (who is a cutie patootie) during the show. It looks like it will be a good movie.
And there was an hilarious commercial on that I Must find and dedicate a blog post just to you!!!!!
Luv ya
Jax
Super-cute card, Di! 🙂 I hear ya on Grey's! I managed to get almost all the way through this week's episode w/o crying…pretty good for an episode of Grey's. I couldn't believe it was George either…what a shocker! He got the 007 nickname really early in the show when a patient he was working on died. 007 = "licenced to kill".
I was reading your blog and when I got to the Grey's part I had to put my fingers in my ears and say "blah blah blah" because I haven't seen it yet. I have it on the DVR but now I just want to run home and hit play.
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the polka dot paper. What is it? I read your receipe but nothing seemed to fit. I am working on my DSP order and if what you used is included I want it!!
Hope your club goes well today.
Jessica
Oh My! I was crying too!!!!!!! And I totally missed the 007 thing… hmm??
Well girly! Thank you sooooooo much for my cute card!!!!!!!! I LOVED received happy mail the other day… these days I REALLY need it 🙂
Di,
I love all your cards and I follow Grey's Anatomy and Private Practice for the past two years and absolutely love the show these episodes were so hard specially with Izzie leaving.
Hugs, Jeanine
I totally recognized George when he came in. They spoke and he opened one eye and that's when I recognized him. I called my sister and her husband answered. I said, "You know that John Doe is George O'Malley right?" He didn't know…OOPS! I love George and Izzy! I can't believe they're getting rid of them!! I keep hoping that they'll come back for next season…
Although I did think that maybe Izzie might come back. Did you see her hesitate in the elevator when George was there to get her? Gotta hope right?
A gorgeous card Di!!
Hi Di,
I would like to see more frilly & colorful ribbons. I know we use to carry them but see what you can do to bring um back :). However the Flower Soft product is a great idea too.
Thanks Patrice,
PS I just love to see what critters you are going to show us next.
My favorite is Heavenly Days. When I had a workshop as a hostess before I signed up as a demo, I found that one in the order and was jealous of whomever had ordered that set. My demo told me it was mine because my workshop was over $400 (there was an extra hostess set at that time) and that it was free!
