So I have some very exciting news to tell you, but I can't tell you till the 28th. On the 28th I will tell you my awesome news, and you will also win the Mystery Blog Candy.
Each day you want to check out my blog, and answer the question of the day, and on the 28th at noon, I will randomly pick the winner from all the answers for all the 5 days. Does that sound like fun? Today's question is: What would you love to see in the new Stampin' Up! catalog? I know I would love to see Flower Soft.
I got my TLC (Technique Lover's Club) Class figured out, and sent that email to everyone on my list. If you are not getting my emails, let me know so I can add you.
Every month I am going to be teaching a class called Technique Lover's Club (TLC for short). At each class everyone will be learning 3 different techniques, and class attendees will receive a variety of products so they can go home and continue to do the techniques they learned that day.
These are the cards that they will be making for TLC Class 1.
The techniques are: 1.) Sansodor w/Watercolor pencils 2.) Sepia Photo 3.) *EP Stained Glass. – (*added since original post…this technique is called Embossed Reinker Spread Technique) originated by Crystal French…love it…thanks Crystal (Patty says Crystal does not have a blog yet…I'll let you know when I see she does…)
They will receive approx. $25.00 in product when they come to class.
If you want me to send you more information about class, make sure to send me your email so I can add you to the list.
I learned these techniques from fellow Stampin' Up! Demonstrators Nikki Fairbairn, Jan Tink, and *Patty Bennett – thanks girls for sharing these great techniques.
So ya'll (how does that sound – kinda boonie-ish?) must think I live at the zoo. A few of you can't wait to see what critter will be on here next…well I'll be darned if when I took Toby out tonight for his final wizz, I looked down and seen this big brute, I quickly scooped up Toby, ran into the house (while I was on the phone too), and grabbed my camera.
Look at him…thank goodness I already found my prince, cause I sure would not want to kiss this sucker. Uggglllyyy…in fact I didn't want Toby near him either, I think this is one of those nasty ones that secrete toxins or something if you pick it up, or a dog licks it. I mean look at him, he looks full of nasty stuff doesn't he? He was huge too, I didn't want to get too close, but he was probably 5 or 6 inches long, blech…but I had to share.
Well I have a busy day tomorrow, and I keep forgetting to order Eric's graduation party food…I am a bad Mum.
Have a great Saturday, and thanks so much for stopping in! Don't forget to scroll down and answer my question in the comment section. Only one entry per day ok?
I think it would be great for SU to carry the Scor-Pal products. :^)
I would love to see more of the textured cardstock designer papers. The weight of them is fabulous for making 3-D items (my favorite).
Barbara P.
I would love to see solid textured CS in 8.5 X 11! I also am addicted to punches….and hope there are new ones! And P.S. you are far from a bad Mum!
I'm with you Di! I want the flower soft!!
I would LOVE to see packs of each individual color of textured cardstock. Oh, and I think the frog is cute 🙂
Send him to me..he could come and live in our pond with our little Gumby…
http://stampingandscrappin.typepad.com/photoaday_2009/2009/05/may-17-2009-meet-gumbie.html
I would love to see Copic markers! It's a long-shot, I know, but a girl can wish right? Cute froggy btw.
I agree with you Diane I would also like not see Flower Soft in the new catalog.
Oh how I would love to see bling! That would be so great. Oh and Pink Pirouette and Baja Breeze as regular colors. I am already mouring them!!
I love embellishments, like dew drops and pearl drops. Michelle
Oh my Di,
One of these days I'm going to learn not to read your reptilian (or is that just amphibian) blog entries after dark. This frog gives me the heebie jeebies and I just know he's going to hop right through the screen (just kidding…I think….:D)
Ain't gonna happen soon but I would love to see Nestibilities and Scor Pal in the catalog. Flowersoft sounds great to me too.
And Ornare piercing templates and tools.
Love the techniques cards. Any chance you'd consider moving to Oregon so I can take your classes? Closer to Canada too if that's an extra enticement – LoL!
Hugs and blessings – Jean
I just love stopping by your blog, Di. There's always something fun to check out – have to agree with you on the toad though – ewwww. As for the SU cattie — don't we all love bling? MORE MORE MORE!
since I already have flower soft and never use it and a scor pal, I'm voting for clear alphabet stamps. not going to happen but a girl can dream…
Ok, now it's not gonna happen, but I would like to have the option of stamps coming with the wood blocks or without at a cheaper price. I unmounted (gasp) all my stamps and now I've got tons of little wood blocks. I've given loads to every toddler I know to use as blocks.
I would definitely love to see the Scor-Pal.
I think I would like to see more unmounted stamps. You do have an interesting zoo, you should see what passes through my South Florida Yard.
I'd love to see dew drops in the new catty.
Thanks for sharing your critters!
I would love to see In Colors come with markers and DS papers in smallers sizes with opportunity to pick what size you want….
Hi Di! The frog is way cool. Just think of all the bugs he eats. In the new catalog, I would like to see more individual stamps like those that are on page 208 of the current catalog. And yes…flower soft would be fab!
I would like to see Flower Soft too – it adds very cool texture to a cards. Okay about this frog….I am certainly glad you did not pick that thing up and put it on your shoulder. Good God – move back to Canada!!! We have good pests – mosquitoes….raccoons…..squirrels……possums (okay they are nasty – but I don't think secrete anything!)
Loving the cards – I wanna take your class!
Love you too!
Jax
Hey there Diana, your projects look so lovely! I can't wait to hear your good news! As for your creature, I call both frogs and toads "frogs". I don't know the difference, but my kids do. That's ok, I don't really care to clarify it at this age. But my kids love frogs, especially my daughter! I have fond memories of them going "frog hunting" around our house at night in the summer. They just loved that. Anyway, I'd like to see some lace in the new catalogs, as well as some more choices of twine, string, floss, etc. Like the scrapper's floss I found that I love. Take care!
I would like to see more piercing templates and I wish right now's In Colors would be permanent. Gross Frog!!!
P.S.: I enjoy reading your blog each morning with my coffee. You're hilarious. TTFN
I would love to see window sheets. I am having the best time with them.
I know it's unlikely to happen but I would LOVE to see Baja Breeze stay! I think it's one of my all time favorite colors!
Thanks for the chance at some mystery candy 🙂
I would like to see Flower Soft, too. I've never used it and the effects look incredible.
I would like to see some Bigshot dies for numbers – we have two choices of small font alphabets, but neither one has numbers on it. When I saw the picture of the frog/toad, I thought it was teeny and you were brave to put your toe right next to it! LOL
I would like to see whatever new In Colors they come up with to also have markers. And that frog makes you wonder….do the ugliest frogs turn into the handsomest princes or the ugliest princes?!? Just a thought…..
I'm also into bling. I would like to see some decorative paper with shine and touches of gold, silver, and copper.
I love punches and waited so long for the scalloped oval to come out. I would love to have a scalloped heart to go with large heart.
I would love to have markers for the in colors. It wouldnt have to stop at the markers they could make watercolor pencils and the crayons (even though I still havent used my crayons alot.)
"Y'all" isn't "boonie-ish" if you live in Texas or the deep South! I'm pretty happy with what is in the cattie already. I'd like to see a Scor-Pal and Bind-It-All in there just because I already have those and it would be fun to demo with them!
2 frogs on my porch last night soon after DH caught the baby rattlesnake back there. It was hiding under the rug cleaner that I had left back there a few days ago. Sooooo, if it comes down to between frogs and rattlesnakes, I'd pick frogs any day!
Have an awesome weekend! And yes, I live in central Texas y'all!
I would love to see the Scor-Pal and Flower soft. Both would make such great additions to Stampin up. I don't have any frogs here but we had your lizard about 3 weeks earlier. It's a 6 hours drive by car from here, so it might take the lizard three weeks to walk.
Hi Di!
Yuck that guy is huge! Your technique class looks fab-o! I would definitely like to have In Color Markers in the new catalog but I think we've been asking that for a while. Maybe if we kiss the frog we'll get our wish for In Color Markers and Flower Soft-wanna try? 😉 Hee hee!
Hugs,
Elizabeth
I would love to see clear notecards and markers in the in-colors. Whatever is in there, I can't wait to see all of the new products.
Diana – you sure do have some cute little visitors. hahaha
In the new catalog – I'd love to see some bigger embosslits. I like the texture of the cut outs.
I would love to see an "I want it all" paper pack. A 6"x6" sampler of all the designer papers. Twice I've participated in paper shares to get all the papers. I love that. I will never order a single 12"x12" paper pack unless I'm doing some large quantity, like Christmas cards.
Would love the teeny, tiny twinkle rhinestones 🙂
Hi Diana!
I really like the punches that match the stamps. They make your project almost goof proof! I think they could add more verse stamps…especially anniversary, and not just "Happy Anniversary" but something to go on the inside for friends anniversaries. I'll be calling you Dr. Dilittle soon if you have any more critters in your blog!!
hugs~ellie:)
I would love to see markers of the In Colors and Satin Ribbon! There are so many other things that I would love to see in the catalogue!
I would love to see Flower Soft. It is such a fun product to use.
I would like to see a few things, clear cards, new punches and pearls. Thank you for the chance to win and I can't wait to hear you news.
I love those printed window sheets. I hope they put some in there or give us demos some in bulk.
Love your blog!
I would love to see some new punches and more accessories like markers of the in colors
I would like to see some new punches, especially ones that would coordinate with their stamps, plus flower soft.
We have neither big, ugly frogs nor lizards here in southern WI…good thing!!!
Have a great Memorial Day weekend!
I would love to see cooper embossing powder and textured cardstock available for some of the most popular colors.
Thanks for the chance to win the blog candy.
I love your blog, you've done a great job.
I would love to see more punches! I've just discovered punches (had them for years and never really used them!!!) and want MORE!!!!
Could I have a corner punch that will go through two layers of cardstock? Please?? Or, a border punch that will do this job?
Di,
I would love to see something in the new catalog that will hold all the punches and store them so you can grab out what you need easily…Thanks for blogging and letting us know what up all the time…
Re: new Stampin' Up catalog, I would love to see a marker set in the new In-Colors. I would also love to see something like Dew Drops and those shiny silver half-pearls. Hope you have a great Graduation celebration for Eric – Congrats Mom!!!
I would love to see watercolor crayons and pastels in the "In Colors".
More punches and more stamp sets that coordinate with them – and I love the "I Want it All" DSP sampler pack idea! Thanks for the chance to win!!
