May I Introduce…

This 'n' That

4 May

…Mr. & Mrs. Timber Riley.

Sophie the bride was wearing a Wera Vang gown of satiny white, it had a 5 foot train, that she had her little nieces carry behind her. Her head was adorned with red flowers that were accented with some pretty bling.  She carried a bouquet of red roses.

Timber the groom was looking dapper in his black tuxedo.  He was so nervous about the wedding he dropped his razor in the toilet and flushed it so he had to get married with his trademark 5 oclock shadow, little did he know that when Sophie saw him standing at the end of the aisle waiting for her, the scruffiness look made the butterflies in her stomach do flip flops…she loves his rugged look.

The couple will be spending their honeymoon in a log cabin built by the groom himself on the side of a mountain far far away from civilization.  They want some alone time…who knows there might be a baby Timber headed your way soon.

Don’t forget to head over to the Hanna Stamps! forum Monday night at Splitcoast Stampers to see some of the new sets for May.

Stamp Set: Wedding Moose

Paper: Basic Black, Riding Hood Red, Neenah, Rock-a-billy DSP

Ink: Memento Tuxedo, Copic Markers

Misc: Chit Chat Rubons, Nestabilities

So I was glad to be able to use the Rock-a-Billy DSP again.  It looks so nice on this card, as it can mock what Timbers pants looked like in real life.

Here you can see it a bit better, how it is embossed, and don’t forget for the month of May, if you order 3 packs of Stampin’ Up! Designer Series Paper, you get the 4th one for free. I love this special, cause I am so addicted to the Designer Series Paper.

Here are the details:

  • All Designer Series paper, Specialty Designer Series papers, and 12″ x 12″ textured card stock are eligible for this promotion.
  • You can mix and match your paper choices.
  • If you order on-line you must enter the qualifying amount of Designer Series paper or 12″ x 12″ textured card stock before entering your free paper.
  • You may choose a free pack of Designer Series paper or 12″ x 12″ textured card stock for every three packs you buy. What a great special eh?

Well I better get my butt back to finishing up Eric’s grad cards…oh and did I mention that Jeff took Eric to get his hair cut the day before I came home from Canada…but when Jeff got home from work the next day, Eric thought he needed to “fix” his cut, and trimmed his hair.  Does a scared rooster with a couple bald spots give you any idea of what his hair looks like?  I think my chin hit the floor of the airport lobby when they picked me up.  I can only hope that it grows in the next 3 weeks so we can fix it, AND that the CAP is huge!!! There goes any photos to put in the invites…

Have a super Monday and thanks for stopping in!

    A digibbs siggy

Love the timber and Sophie story! Who could resist a lumberjack!
I'm sure Eric was trying to be helpful…hey if it's gonna happen…it's gonna happen to you or me…Murphy's law!! Our lives would be so boring without our men to introduce pure CHAOS!!!!!!!

    Hi,
When our 1st was graduating HS ,my hubby gave him his usual haircut at home, BUT accidentally took off the #4 and instead of cutting it, shaved a 2 inch spot on the back of his head. There was nothing to be done, just shove that hat on top. We laugh about now but at the time…He didn't ask Dad for a trim when he graduated from college.
    Hugs from Michigan

Hi, my name is Diana Gibbs and I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 1999. I never imagined getting up and talking to people, I am deaf (I wear hearing aids) so talking to strangers has never been a fun thing for me. But put a rubber stamp in my hand and I will talk to anyone.

I hope you can find inspiration and learn new and exciting things while you are here. If there is ever anything you want me to teach you, just let me know!
