I got the cutest birthday card from one of my friends and downline Julie Craig (waving Hi!!!), and it is using one of my favorite sets. I told Julie that I was totally going to case it, but I have not had time yet, so I am gonna show you the actual card.
Card made by: Julie Craig
Stamp Set: Just Jawing, Gratuitous Graffiti
Paper: Tempting Turquoise, Basic Black, Whisper White, Shimmery White
Ink: Only Orange, Certainly Celery, Tempting Turquoise, Pixie Pink, Basic Black
Misc: Red glitter, dazzling diamonds, diamond brads
I am just going by looks, so I apologize if I have something wrong.
Isn’t this the coolest card? I am totally gonna make one. I even have a skull colored and cut out from when I was doing valentines cards.
I have almost got my artisan award submissions done, just a few more things to do, then I can stamp stuff you can see…after I cut the supplies for my Pink Flamingo class this weekend.
Here is another card using the You Rock words from Just Jawing, I just choose to use them in a different way.
Stamp Set: Granny Hanny (Hanna Stamps!), Just Jawing
Paper: Sweet Slumber, Whisper White, Ruby Red, Sahara Sand
Ink: Memento Tuxedo, Copics
Misc: White Tafetta, White gel pen
So the inside of the card says this…
…fun eh? I mean you could give this card to anyone!
While I am typing this “Everybody Loves Raymond” is on, the one where his cousin comes to work for him and he acts and talks like Raymond and of course Raymond does not see this, he just sees the cousin as obnoxious…it is too funny, their nasally voices…saying “meow! meow!”
Well I am off for “neow”, have a great Tuesday and thanks for stopping in!
Great cards…love the rocking chair and the sentiment makes it super cute…
I have never submitted anything to SU artisan, I guess I could give it a go!!!
I think I might have to get me that skull! I have the wheel, but didn't think I would use the skull….maybe I will!!!!! There is a guy that I work with that sounds like Raymond. It's too funny – he sits in another cubicle and when I hear him talk I just chuckle to myself and picture him getting in crap by Debra or his mom!
Thanks Di – I feel special to be on your awesome blog – XXOO
Julie
These are very fun card! I love the background on the first one and love how you paired the same sentiment with the chair…very clever!
