So Glad…

This 'n' That

20 Apr

…for our Grad.

The end of May, Eric will be graduating.  He has actually graduated already as he had all his credits, and couldn't stay at school any longer, but the actual cap and gown ceremony is the end of May.  So I am working on his invitations.

I didn't have a graduation set, so I checked out The Greeting Farm, they have really cute stuff and they also sell digital stamps, so I was in a pinch and they had the perfect one for Eric, and I could get it instantly.

All I have done is colored him, I need to design the card still, and I will show you when I get done.  But here he is so far:

DSCN7738 copy Stamp: Grad Ian Digital

Ink: Creamy Caramel, Blush Blossom, Baja Breeze, Real Red, black watercolor pencil

Paper: Watercolor paper

Misc: Aqua Painter

I may touch him up still with a white gel pen or whatever, and I would love to actually use a real yarn tassle bobble thing, but so far I dont know where to get that….but for now, this is what I have done…cute eh?

I had my last of the Pink Flamingo classes today.  So my next class to get ready for is my Big Shot Part Two class.

Have a great Monday, and thanks for stopping in!

A digibbs siggy

I'll brainstorm for you for the tassle….but based on the picture from yesterday…I think little Ian needs some fun flock – I think in a blondish brown colour…added on to his chinny chin chin!!!!
I'm so proud of Eric. Give him a big hug and a smooch from his Aunt Jacqui and tell him I'm gonna save the money so I can come and watch his big ass T.V.!!!!

this is cute…for the tassel i would use a very fine yarn, cut about 6 pieces, tie in the centre, pinch together and tie a small piece of yarn around the top about 1/8" down…voila, one tassel…i'm a knitter, make them all the time…

Hi, my name is Diana Gibbs and I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 1999. I never imagined getting up and talking to people, I am deaf (I wear hearing aids) so talking to strangers has never been a fun thing for me. But put a rubber stamp in my hand and I will talk to anyone.

I hope you can find inspiration and learn new and exciting things while you are here. If there is ever anything you want me to teach you, just let me know!
