Fab Friend...

...like totally.

I hosted a swap for the Occasions mini catalog (which today ends the buy $40.00 out of the Occasions mini and you get a stamp off of page 208 in the Spring Summer Catalog for free - the under $10.00 page) and this is the card that Betty made. I love it, and it is so stinking cute.  I had it on my blog under Swaps - a category over to the right, but I wanted to point out a couple things about the card better...so here ya go...

DSCN7746 copy Card by Betty Bogner - She is sweet as sugar, and she stays out of the rain to prove it...Mwah!!

Stamp Sets: Forest Friends, Oval All

Paper: Rock-a-Billy Specialty DSP, Whisper White, Real Red

Ink: Basic Black, Certainly Celery, Summer SUn, Regal Rose

Misc: Real Red wide grosgrain, oval scallop punch, oval punch, scallop punch, circle punch

Ok so what I wanted to draw your attention to, other then how stinking cute this card is, is the Specialty  Designer Series Paper.  This stuff is the bomb, I mean it is embossed on one side, one side is not and the other one is.

DSCN7748 copy Check this out..can you see that? The stripes are embossed and so are the cherries.

I love this stuff.  I swear the Designer Series Paper that Stampin' Up! has beeen putting out lately...holy moly...I am loving it.  I am trying to actually use more of it and stop hording, and I think if you look back in past posts you see that I have been using it.

Well I can't believe that the month is over and that I will be heading home tomorrow...that was a fast trip (as I sit here eating a peanut butter sandwich not even have left yet) OMG! if something were to happen to me, these sure would not be fun posts to read eh?  OK don't know why I even thought that.  Anyway...happy thoughts. Little bunny hopping in a meadow...happy! happy!

Have a super Thursday, you don't want to miss tomorrow's post. I got some blog candy to give away. Yeah baby...everyone loves candy!

Thanks for stopping in!

Quack, I mean RAK...

...from Debbie...

One of my fellow Demonstrator/Canadian/Arizona Resident friend is Debbie Sutton.  OMG! the minute I met her I was like...she is definitely Canadian, I mean the accent...come on... and I knew I loved her, we just clicked. She is such a peach, and she even brings me Canadian treats...now that warms me old heart right there.  But she sends me cards in the mail, she actually makes cards for the holidays and mails them out...can you believe it?  Are you reading this with a Canadian accent? I hope so...ya know I'm coming back home to AZ with one ya know. When I am typing this I am talking like Vicki...but I won't use the word arse...ha! My Dad always says arse instead of the other word, and it sounds funny to me. So Vicki says it too....ok so I got off topic...

I Remember...

...growing up and we were not allowed to wear make up till like 16 or something, I can remember at Halloween, I loved it cause we would dress up, I would get to wear make up, I was always something with boobs, and I would be dead...one year I think I was a dead cheerleader.  But then you would wash your face and some of the eye make-up would still be there, so I did not scrub really hard.  But like after a few days it was apparent that I was secretly reapplying it...yeah Mum put a stop to that...ha! Till next Halloween <evil laugh>.

Here little Sophie has been playing in Mummy's make-up and earrings, and shoes, and purfume too..ha!

DSCN7547 copy Stamp Set: Sophie Perfume, Granny Hanna, Many Happy Returns

Paper: Kraft, Chocolate Chip, Parisian Breeze TDSP, Watercolor Paper

Ink: Jetblack Stazon, Baja Breeze, Creamy Caramel, So Saffron, Real Red, Going Gray, Basic Gray, Blush Blossom

Misc: White gel pen, white organza ribbon

I went extra dark on the make up...no way is that coming off for a week. Ha!

Have a great Monday, I think by now I should be at Jacqui's for a few days!

Thanks for stopping in!

My fun RAK from Cori - Bubble bath anyone?

So the other day I went to the mail box and what did I find?  This cute card from Cori Solorzano.

We hooked up for about 10 minutes at the end of CHA and got to meet each other, she is super sweet and I love the buttons and the glitter, and I love the sexy foot coming out of the tub.

I am not gonna guess what she used. I do believe this is a Bella set though.

But she cuttlebugged, and glittered and embellished and she made my day!

Thanks Cori..mwah!!!

Well as you know I am still in Canada, and if I can add anything I will, I am almost scared to get into my typepad and mess around while I am gone, cause if I lose something its not like I can load it back up eh?

Have a blessed Sunday, and thanks for stopping in!
