I Think I Can…I Think I Can…

This 'n' That

9 Apr

…ok I better just do it.  I am starting a diet tomorrow, and getting back to my pilates, and the treadmill…it's like a broken record, but I mean it.  My BFF Tracy is coming out for a whole week in June and I wanna look good for her…oh and my hubby too…ha!

Too funny tonight while we were watching American Idol I was acting like a dope…yeah that surprises you don't it? And I was pointing my toes trying to make my legs look lean and sexy for Jeff and my big toe got a cramp, and totally was bending down, and I was like "cramp! cramp!" and Jeff said all serious like "you're body does not move like it used to, that is why you see I don't make any sudden movements, and just sit still" I was laughing so hard, then he told me "if you drink more water, that will help, and you won't get cramps" ok Doc Gibbs…since tomorrow starts my diet, that is all I will be drinking, so I will be able to point my toes and pirouette all over the house…and I will dance to my Twilight soundtrack…

Here is a card for Will, and one of the new Hanna Stamps! Rileys for the month of April, isn't he cute, waving as he goes chuga..chuga…chuga…whoo!whoo! by? I'm gonna call this Riley "Will" cause he loves trains.

So tonight on American Idol, they had Flo Frida or something on there, and I wish that I had a DVR, like Winthrop84 (Hi!!!) has cause then we could fast forward through all that crap too. I mean I asked Jeff what he thought the demographic for the show was and he said 14-16 years old, and I am like what? shouldnt those kids be in bed?  But anyway they started rapping and gyrating, and then he took off his coat and I see London I see France I see Flo Frida's underpants, and I threw up a bit in my mouth…ok well that was lying and gross to say…sorry…but I think this guy is way past the age to be doing that stuff, and then what did he curse at the end and they had to bleep him? Those poor 14 -16 year olds, what kinda example is that setting for them?  What are they thinking when they have these performers on there.  Kellie Pickler looked so cute, and I love her with the longer hair, but the sound and the song was horrible, I wish she would have sang something different.

I wish they had of kept Scott around 1 more week, I think Anoop is a sore loser, and was all giving the mad face when he thought he was gonna get kicked off and although he can sing he is not the best, neither is Scott and I am glad the judges did not waste their "save vote" on him, but he is very talented, and such an inspiration to everyone. It was nice to see all the other singers helping him during the group performance, it will be great to see them when they tour.

So today was the second time that I opened up a package of food, that was NOT expired, and the coupon inside WAS expired…what the heck is up with that?  Why kill a tree if you aren't gonna give me a coupon I can use people?  Nuff said…

Have a super Thursday, and thanks for stopping in!

A digibbs siggy

LOL!!!! di, you crack me up! I've heard that increasing your water and also eating more bananas can help with the cramps too. Good luck with the new healthy start!!!

Choo Choo… I love it this image and card of course. If you are looking for a "virtual" diet/exercise buddy I am in the same boat. 10 lbs is all I want to loose and I keep saying "tomorrow, "tomorrow".

OMGosh!!!It's sick how we can (try to) loose weight for our girlfriends first! But not so much for Family/Hubby's!! I'm the same way!! I've been thinking about it for months now, BUT now that I'm headed to spend time with my BFF. I'm gonna crunch!! But I have a LOT more to loose than you!! We can do it!!! We'll have sexy toe pointing legs to get those AWESOME Pedicures at Selena's Salon!!!
Steve said last night while watching AI, and that Flo Dude was on… "You're gonna have to call Diana for the end results cause I think I'm gonna smash this TV!!"
That was so aweful (and it's NOT because we are getting older) it was totally inappropriate. The only words I could understand were making me sick, and to think AI allowed that! I do consider it a Family Show!!
    Love Ya

So you will totally laugh because I could not wait to get log onto your blog and read your comments about last night's AI. I was about to DIE not being able to comment along with you during the show. I knew that when Flo Rida came on you would feel th exact same way I did. Who really cares about that kind of music? Not me!!! I enjoyed Frankie Avalon much more–LOL

    Love the card as always.

Can I just say that you totally crack me up? I love to read your blog every day. I just feel like we are sitting with each other and you are just saying the funniest things and we are just laughing together. When you say the gross stuff that just makes me laugh even harder. (you threw up a little in your mouth! HA!!) My husband hears me laughing and he yells at me from the other room…what are you laughing at? And I'm just like, "crazy Diana" and he says "oh!" like he knows who you are which is too funny 'cause he has no idea.
Thank you. I wish you lived close so we really could laugh together…plus we could watch American Idol at fast forward speed…but we'd slow it down at the good parts!!

when muscles cramp one of the reasons is lack of salt in your diet and your system-
my ex is a timber faller and was told by the other experienced fallers when he began that if his muscles started to cramp that it was from lack of salt and to get some into his system immediately.

    good luck!
