…that old man of mine…and I can call him old man, cause I am his old lady…ha!
When we were in Hawaii, the last night Stampin' Up! had a Luau for us, I mean they had to set it up in a whole different place cause of the size of our crowd. They also had grass teepee's set around with Hawaiin make n takes…ha! Ok well only some were make n takes, and one of them was making a wrist lei, well I was like "honey, please make me one" so he went and got in line, but the line was taking forever, and then I said well lets go sit down and eat, but later the line was not bad so he went back. It was so funny cause when he was in line the first time I took his picture, and girls in line were saying "we better see this on your blog" .
Here they are:
Jeff making my lei, its a little blurry but his hands were moving, whipping that baby up so fast….
…and here we are, modeling our shirts and me showing off my wrist lei, I didn't think we could bring it back home so I left it in the hotel, then found out at the airport that I could have brought it. Oh well I have pictures right?
Ya know what? I had no idea how many Demonstrators read my blog till recently and the trip was so funny, that people would say "hey I love your blog", and well we all need a little ego stroking, and it made me feel so good…thanks to everyone for reading.
One person that I think is my number one reader (the one that was a little hesitant when I started one) is my hubby, in fact he told me yesterday that one of the guys from work said "how do you get to go on these trips every year?" and Jeff said "let me show you" and then he goes to his computer and opens up my blog.
Jeff said "this is my wife, and this is my wife on stamps" ok well I added that last part…but I am so very lucky that my husband is so supportive of my business, I have heard such sad stories over the years of husbands that were not, and it is heartbreaking. In fact on our first Stampin' Up! cruise to Alaska we came back from an excursion and Shelli was standing at the door welcoming everyone back. I got gabbing with some girlfriends and did not even notice that Jeff had wandered over to Shelli. Then one of the girls said "did you just hear what your husband said to Shelli?" and I thought oh no it wasn't pull my finger was it? Then she said "he said to Shelli, I want to thank you for making my wife so happy" now does that not put a lump in your throat, and a tear in your eye? I know it does mine.
So to repeat the words that my pal Terri Mongeon said to me about Jeff "he's a keeper", and I definitely agree. Jeff, I love you honey!
I thought you would enjoy that story.
Thanks for stopping in!
That is a very good story. I remember you telling me that story about him talking to Shelli and that is very cool. It does put a little tear in your eye doesn't it!
I must say he certainly is a keeper!!! Who else would be crazy enough to put up with your genetic makeup!!!!!! (ha ha)
Luv ya
Jax

AAAWWW! What a sweetie!
what a great husband you have and what an amazing thing that he said to Shelli. I love to hear other stories about supportive husbands. I'm very blessed as my husband is extreamly supportive. Thanks for sharing with us.
I always love to hear about spouses that really appreciate each other. Especially when they have been married for more than a couple of years. I've been married to mine for 10 years and I still feel like a newly wed. Reminds me of my mother telling me about going to a party for my Dad's best friend and his wife. Mom and Dad had just gotten married, the other couple had been married for 5 years. She thought that was a long time and was impressed. 30 years later she was telling me that story and I was thinking that 5 years was a long time. But now that I've been married for twice that time I realize that with the right man even 10 years is short.
I know my hubby would appreciate a trip to Hawaii but I don't know if I could keep him with me during all the Stampin Crafting stuff. He'd be like, "See ya later honey. I'm going to go SCUBA diving" or "If you need me you'll find me at Pearl Harbor." Not that he's not supportive of my crafty adventures but I don't think I could pay him to make me a wrist leigh. LOL
KEEP A HOLD of that man of yours! He's a gem!
