Last month when we were in Hawaii…yeah can you believe it, it is almost a month ago…Aunt Flo arrived today so that is my time gauge….hence the migraine the other day…T.M.I. I know!! Sorry!
Anyway, Gigi was one of the winners of one of the goodie bags from my Hawaii sale and look at the beautiful card she sent me as a thank you. I love it. All the details, the pearls, the rhinestone, the bling, the embossed vellum butterfly…love it! Thanks so much Gigi!
Card by Gigi Acker – Queen of the Bling
I am not going to guess what she used, just enjoy the beauty of it…I know I am.
Today I was cleaning and doing laundry cause I let it go the last few days cause of my weekend classes, so I love getting RAK's in the mail, cause then I get a day off from stamping if I have to do other things, and I can show off other stamper's cards. Bad ain't I? Ha!
Have a super Tuesday and thanks for stopping in!
That is very pretty. Is the butterfly dry embossed or heat embossed? It's a little hard to tell by the picture.
This is gorgeous Di!!
What a surprise it is to see my card on your blog! Wow – thanks! Especially since I didn't make another one LOL! Regarding your reader Jacqui's question, the butterfly is cut from the butterfly Cuttlebug die and embossed (dry) with the coordinating folders the set comes with. It's done in vellum – really a cool effect! The flower stamp is from PaperTrey and the "thank you" stamp is SU! (cardstock and ink are also SU!). Yes, we do love bling in our house -esp my 5 yr old! She got a hold of my pink Stickles (that's what is sprinkled around the center of the flower) and I think this is the last drop I squeezed from the bottle. Thanks again, Di! -gigi
Thanks for sharing GiGi's lovely card. I love this PTI set and I also love that our SU Fifth Ave Floral has similar images so I can replicate this flower style I'm finding everywhere. Gotta love the embossed vellum and the ease with which the folders make this look so good!
Hugs and blessings – Jean
