Feet Like a Monkey

This 'n' That

5 Apr

When I was pregnant my feet miraculously turned into monkey feet/hands.  I couldn't bend over with my big belly, but I got to be pretty good at picking things up with my feet and then bringing my leg/foot up by bending my knee and then taking it from my foot with my hand…(aint that a pretty visualization?)…now this did not include food items…I am talking like a sock, or a shirt kinda thing…you know laundry strewn throughout the house.

So that is what I was thinking of when I made this card. Petunia looks like she is looking at something on the floor, and well she also looks like she could be having a back ache, so how about a nice warm whatever that rubber thing is…if I don't think of it before I post the blog…you are all gonna know what a dope I am sometimes when I write…but after she filled it up she dropped it on the floor, and she too is pretty good about picking things up with her feet but the rubber thing filled with water just is not gonna happen…so eventually she just lays down on the floor and rests her back on the water filled red rubber thing till her hubby George comes home from working in the Jungle all day and helps her up, luckily she had the remote handy and was able to watch her shows all afternoon.

Di, I have the best memories of being at my grandparents cottage and waiting for the hot water bottle to be ready so we could hop into those cold beds! Thanks for the trip down memory lane, as well as another great card…

Hi, my name is Diana Gibbs and I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 1999. I never imagined getting up and talking to people, I am deaf (I wear hearing aids) so talking to strangers has never been a fun thing for me. But put a rubber stamp in my hand and I will talk to anyone.

I hope you can find inspiration and learn new and exciting things while you are here. If there is ever anything you want me to teach you, just let me know!
