A Good Mail Day

3-D Items

16 Apr

Today I got a knock on the door, and I was like hmmm….that does not sound like the UPS man, he usually toots first (oops excuse me, forgot my Beano) and then knocks, so when I opened the door I was surprised to see the mail man with a parcel for me…from my sister Jacqui from C-eh-N-eh-D-eh ( a little brother in law humor).

I quickly opened it up and look at all the goodies that spilled out:

DSCN7723 Kit Kat Crunchy – 2 of them!!!, bling, brads, glitter, socks, some fun covered books, a placque with one of my favorite sayings on it: "Life is not measured by the numbers of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away". Vampire teeth, ribbon Zig pens, a whole bunch of goodies.

Isn't she the best sister ever? She feels sorry for me.  I missed Jactopia last year and I am going to miss Victopia this month, so she sent me a little care package to show how much she loves me.

And look…

DSCN7726 …I had to open the Kit Kat right away and eat it, not cause it was all melting (one time Jax sent me chocolate and it was kinda melting) this was actually cold cause it was inside the PO truck and the whole hand delivery thing.

I will admit, there was two in there and well I ate the other one tonight.  I asked my blog friend Sharon (hey girl) we have been emailing back and forth our excersice routines, food choices for the day and water drinkage and all that…and I said I ate the second Kit Kat, but I drank a pint of water right after, to flush it right out so it did not stick…look it up…I swear I read it somewhere…I am not sure if she answered me back yet.

So anyway, tonight while American Idol was on I made these, DSCN7729 copy and I have not decided the other designer series paper that will go with them, so the buttons might not stay brown.  I have a box I want to cover so that will be a project I will do after my classes this weekend.

So speaking of American Idol, I was surprised they used their one save, I thought for sure they would save it for Adam just in case somehow he gets kicked off some time, but hey what do I know.

I do know that I was so happy that Miley Cyrus was on tonight because it reminded me that I needed to clean the crapper for my class this weekend.  I know I am such a Pollyanna aren't I? Always thinking of the glass half full. I was almost hoping that the Zac Ephron guy could have given Miley his hat by the end of the song…she was such a fright!

Well that's it folks for Diana's weekly American Idol critique…sponsored by Dodge, that's what we drive…ha!

I gotta get up early and excersice my Kit Kats off, and also we can get our hotel rooms reserved for Convention starting tomorrow….yeah!!! I can't wait to hang out with my friends that I don't see but once a year, and my friends I see all the time too at home, Rhonda and I are rooming together this year and we have already been chatting on the phone and giggling, it is gonna be a blast! I also hope to meet lots of new people this year too, make sure if you see me you stop and say hi ok?

Have a great Thursday, and thanks for stopping in!

A digibbs siggy

So are Jactopia and Victopia made up holidays? Whatever they are I think it's cool that your sis sent you such a great treat. Who doesn't love a suprise like that? Especially when it contains both chocolate and scrapbook stuff!
So I was suprised that they saved Chris last night. I wouldn't have been upset if he went home but I'm thinking that him and Lil will both be gone next week. I think someone will either sing "Raining Men", "I Will Survive" or "YMCA"–LOL

Hi, my name is Diana Gibbs and I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 1999. I never imagined getting up and talking to people, I am deaf (I wear hearing aids) so talking to strangers has never been a fun thing for me. But put a rubber stamp in my hand and I will talk to anyone.

I hope you can find inspiration and learn new and exciting things while you are here. If there is ever anything you want me to teach you, just let me know!
