A Dream Come True

This 'n' That

11 Apr

I just want to first say thank you so much for all the birthday wishes, I really loved reading your comments.  I got quite a few birthday wishes on Facebook too…that was so nice, and my PCP and Hanna Stamps! DT chicks too!  I talked to my Mum and my sister Jacqui today too, we were laughing at her blog pics.  My Dad and Teresa had called yesterday, they were on the way to a funeral so he would not be able to call me today. I even got seranaded by my fellow Hanna Stamps! DT sistah VIcki G, she called and sang to me on my answering machine, while we were driving around for lunch!

Speaking of pics, Jacqui sent me this one through email, she called me elfin Diana.  Well I do love Keebler cookies, when I used to work for Jim my accountant for 10 years, we had a Keebler salesman as a client and he would always bring us cookies when he picked up his taxes.  That was always fun, we would split the packages up between us.

Elven_Diana copy What do you think? Should I apply for an elf job?

I am checking out that couch, but I do believe it is called a chesterfield, its like Everybody Loves Raymond parents house.

So I was in charge of the Hanna Stamps! Design Team Friday Challenge yesterday on Splitcoast stampers, and since it was my birthday I choose birthday cards, (make sure to go upload your card and use the keyword HSC64) and I thought well I wanted to do a fun card, and a masculine card cause those are hard. I mean I do tons of flowers, and girls stuff like that but when it comes to a “man” card I have trouble, so I did a real man’s card….what ya think?

I call it Jack Tripper gets his wish, remember Three’s Company, I loved John Ritter, he was such a great actor, and it was so sad when he died suddenly in 2003.  Well he was always trying to pick up chicks on the show, and this is where his wish finally came true

Paper: Sweet Slumber Textured Designer Series Paper, Neenah

Ink: Memento Tuxedo, Copics

Misc: Top Note Die (can ya get enough of that die? I love it!), Baja Breeze striped ribbon

Too fun…

Well I have to get back to finishing up my downline meeting stuff for tomorrow, Jeff took me to lunch today and we drove around looking for a restaurant I wanted to go to for an hour and we never did find it. I even called information and they did not have a number, I called two friends, and they gave kinda round about areas, but it was down one road we did not go…ha!

Oh well, some other time.

Have a nice Saturday, they are calling for rain here in Arizona!

Thanks for stopping in!

That card is awesome!!! You could do another one and put the Granny Hanna in it – and she could be Mrs. Roper!! Wasn't she always trying to hit on poor Jack? I too miss John Ritter, he was a great actor and so funny. I remember hearing about his death and Johnny Cash's death at the same time while I was driving to work. Sad, sad!
    Love ya

    Hi Diana,

Belated Happy B-day! I always visit your blog but never leave messages until I found out that we're both Canadians..eh! and have the same sign – "Aries." That explains why you are a "happy-go-lucky" kinda gal.

Anyway, I always admire your talent and your wackiness. Glad to hear that you had fun yesterday.

I don't even know you, but I so enjoy your blog. I happened upon it one day when I was looking for a tutorial. I check it almost every day now. I really enjoy your writing!

Hubba, Hubba Di! You've definitely tapped into the male mind. And the guy in the card even looks kinda like Jack Tripper – must be the facial expression – pure John Ritter. So does it freak your wonderful Hubby that you know the male mind so well?

I love the Daisy Mae gal – until I gained weight she and I could have been twins! 😀 – At least in my high school years anyway! – LoL!

    Hugs and blessings – Jean

Hi, my name is Diana Gibbs and I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 1999. I never imagined getting up and talking to people, I am deaf (I wear hearing aids) so talking to strangers has never been a fun thing for me. But put a rubber stamp in my hand and I will talk to anyone.

I hope you can find inspiration and learn new and exciting things while you are here. If there is ever anything you want me to teach you, just let me know!
