Sweet Sympathy Card

This 'n' That

23 Mar

DSCN7259 copy Jayne, my dear friend and neighbor always babysits Sammi and Toby when we go away, and we do the same for them, they usually take their dogs, Gus and Lily, but Ruby the goat and the chickens are not so much fun to travel with.  So anyway, Jayne was really close to Sammi, and when she came over today she brought us this beautiful card and this little heart stone to remember Sammi by, isn't that sweet?

DSCN7260 copy

I will cherish it forever. Thanks Jayne!

Enjoy your Monday and thanks for stopping in!

A digibbs siggy

What a wonderful friend!!! I would like to know where she found that heart stone, if you wouldn't mind asking her.

Oh, that is sooo sweet! I have a friend who just lost her golden retriever and I would love to send her a heart…do you know where it came from? I am a dog lover over the top and would have hundreds if I could afford it. LOL I nearly lost my golden retriever this past month and now my good friend has. I feel so badly for her and just want to let her know I will miss Molly, too.

    Hugs, Laurie

    Hi Di,
I had to put my beloved Poodle down about 2 years ago and I had Brittany cremated and the vet gave me a paw print made out of a little clay thing similar to yours and it is a CHERISHED item I have by the ashes of my loved pet in a small little sealed box!! I truly know what you are going through my dog was 17 years old–but the good news it that I now have a new little love Taffy a Pomeranian that will soon be 2 years old in a few months–you never forget but this one makes new memories to enjoy and she is so much FUN!!

Hi Di, my name is Bea and I found your site thru Dawn Griffith and I was just looking at your sympath card and reading about losing your beloved poodle. It's a very sad thing to go through. I lost my Beloved Kiwi 2 yrs ago on March 24, 2007 and I still miss her to this day and she is buried out in the yard with a head stone and I keep flowers on it. I didn't know about creamting a pet but had i known I would have done that. But now we have Kiwi's 15 yr. old daughter and 3 other poodles,Katie,Ebony, Brandy and Tessie.God Bless you and I know how you feel I had Kiwi for 15 yrs and I'm still crying. Anyway I just popped by to say I love your cards and I'd like to place an order with you sometime if I can? Thanks for the fabulous cards. I am making Easter cards now and looking for ideas. Thanks again for the great cards!!Bea Honeycutt

Hi, my name is Diana Gibbs and I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 1999. I never imagined getting up and talking to people, I am deaf (I wear hearing aids) so talking to strangers has never been a fun thing for me. But put a rubber stamp in my hand and I will talk to anyone.

I hope you can find inspiration and learn new and exciting things while you are here. If there is ever anything you want me to teach you, just let me know!
