..get some clothes on man!
So tonight was the release party for the March and this month I did much better, got all my Hanna stamping done first thing. I am slow with my New Years Resolution of being organized, but we are still in the first quarter of the year right? So that has to count. I have the Paper Play Get Away weekend in Prescott this coming weekend, a workshop next week, then a 10/10/20 class the following weekend, and also the Stampin’ Up! incentive trip to Hawaii this month, so I need to be on the ball…oh yeah and I got to get my taxes done, I rescheduled my appt…I hate doing that but I have not had time to even start on them.
One of the new sets is Timber Riley, and he is such a man, and in the first card, he is buck naked…and sawing wood…now that takes balls…ha! Well be careful Timber, we don’t want to have to change your name to Tammy.
Stamp Set: Timber Riley, Just What I Meant to Say
Paper: Baja Breeze, Windsor Knot DSP, Chocolate Chip, Neenah
Ink: Memento Tuxedo, Copics, Kiwi Kiss, Baja Breeze, Really Rust
Misc: art pen, white gel pen, sewing machine, scalloped circle punch to use as a cloud stencil, dew drops
TIP: I wanted more ground, so I just quickly drew in with my art pen more of it, just make sure your art pen is permanent so it does not bleed when you go back in to color or sponge.
I use a Faber-Castell PITT artist pen, they come with different pen tips…I actually just buy them from my local grocery store, I don’t know if the price is the best (I have never compared it) but it is convenient.
Another thing I did with my art pen was to add…
…some stubble and a tattoo, that is why I left him naked…ha! So you could see his tat! The heart is empty cause he is single and has not found that perfect woman yet…to put her name in it…unlike my hubby who has my name on his chest…hear my heart go pitter-patter?
Aint he cute? Don’t ya wanna take him home? Timber..not my hubby! (I hear ya BFF Tracy…yeah I’ll take Jeff..wrap him up!! – Ha!)
But he really wants to find a bride and he thought sawing wood in the buff would do it, he did get a couple lookers and a few girls left him their phone numbers, but then he thought well maybe if he told more about himself he would find Miss Right, just like those on-line dating programs, I mean if you lie about yourself how in the world will it find your match?
So Timber figured he would be honest about himself, and he threw on some clothes, his best flannel shirt and blue jeans, and let it all hang out…in a different way.
Paper: Garden Green, Neenah, Real Red, Summer Sun
Ink: Memento Tuxedo, Copics
Misc: Beer Bottle Top, nestabilities, white gel pen, art pen (to draw on the stubble and his clothes)
TIP: you must use a brand new un-used Beer bottle top, just look in your phone book for a beer supply house for making home brewed beer, I just crushed it with my big shot…simple, and such a cute embellishment…especially for a man card.
So anyway Timber wanted to let his bride to be know what kind of a man he was from the get go, so there would be no surprises when he would come home with dirt under his nails hooves, maybe some beer on his breath.
He likes to play darts and hang out with the guys, when he is not working his tail off he takes off his hard hat and replaces it with a ball cap and he usually has a beer in has hoof.
He enjoys the Sports Illustrated Calendar as much as the next moose…and especially Miss June….remembTo refresh your memory…here she is…he finds it hard to move the calendar onto July…he just loves Miss June so much.
So if anyone is looking for a rugged, manly man, one that will fix your car, take out the garbage, loves to BBQ, but still not hesitate when you say “honey when you go to the grocery store, I need tampons”…and he actually buys them, this is the guy for you.
Please call: 555-1234 and ask for Timber, he’ll be waiting for you.
Have a great Tuesday and thanks for stopping in!
Hugs, Di

I couldn't agree more…you have a way with words and you aren't bad with stamping, either. He is such a manly moose; have to have him cuz my hubby thinks chain sawing is the ultimate!! Back tomorrow. Mary Jo
OMG!!!!!!!! Sooooooooo funny Di!!!!!!!!!
Ha Ha Ha Ha—I needed that laugh today. It was one of the best birthday presents that I think I have received. You should start an "Adventures of Timber" series. Once a month post a different card with a story about his search for the perfect woman. I bet he hangs out at the Moose Lodge–LOL.
I LOVE YOU and MISS YOU BFF!!!
