Pink Flamingo Class

This 'n' That

4 Mar

So this weekend is the Paper Play Get-Away weekend at the Prescott Pines Camp.  I was asked to teach a couple classes by Shelli who lives there. So I am gonna head up there on Friday, the classes are on Saturday, and then I will either stay Saturday night too and head back Sunday, or come home Saturday night, it depends on how much fun I am having…ha!  I am excited to get there, but about a month ago they had a million inches of snow and that was freaking me out, (a Canadian that does not know how to drive in the snow…ha!) but Shelli says it is all gone now.

So I thought I would share with you what my class attendees are going to make.

DSCN7185 copy A tin, they will cover that they can use for whatever they would like, (they can store all their make n takes in it to go home) there is also a small note card in case they decide to fill it with cookies later and give it away.

There is also a Box in a Bag and a Branch Out card. They get their own pack of Pink Flamingo Designer Series Paper.

Here are the projects a little closer.

DSCN7187 copy Gift card

Stamp Set: Priceless, Really Retro

Paper: Whisper White, Basic Black, Pink Flamingo DSP

Ink: Summer Sun, Basic Black

Misc: Black gingham ribbon, Summer Sun corduroy button, lace border punch

DSCN7189 copy Box in a Bag

Paper: Pink Flamingo DSP, Real Red

Misc: Red Striped ribbon, scallop border punch, white gel pen, Summer Sun corduroy buttons, Boho Blossoms punch, Round tab punch, 1/4" hand held circle punch

DSCN7188 copy Card

Stamp Set: Branch Out, Really Retro

Paper: Pink Pirouette, Pretty in Pink, Cameo Coral, Whisper White, Pink Flamingo DSP

Ink: Close to Cocoa, Cameo Coral, Pretty in Pink, Summer Sun

Misc: White Taffeta, Summer Sun Corduroy button, 1" circle punch, nestabilities, birds and blooms sizzlit

So I am hoping they like everything.  They have 2 hours.  I am going to take a couple extra packets just in case some people that did not sign up will decide they want to take the class once they see everything.

I am also going to be doing this class in my studio in April too cause I had a bunch of people that could not attend the Prescott weekend.

So tonight was American Idol, and let me tell ya I had a hard time picking anybody till the end, I mean my gosh this was a rough night.  We finally voted on 8, 9 & 10.  We were going back and forth between 10 and 12, but we feel that number 12 will make it either way, if she does not get pulled forward tomorrow, she will defintely get in the wild card.  But some of them, I was like changing the song I guess is suggested, but the one that sang the ABBA song was horrible…and I am so sick of Kara…and my hubby kept telling her -well he was telling the TV – STOP BANGING THE TABLE!!! cause you can hear it in the mike, and then didnt she say something weird when Paula was pronouncing ABBA weird, it was like she said Paula's name weird, like Paula was pronouncing ABBA…very odd…Meow!!! Hiss!Hiss!

Well I am hitting the hay, thanks so much for stopping in!

Hugs, Di

Hey this is a great trio of projects! (4 with the cute lil notecard!)
I love how they fit together and you are giving them a variety of items. Can I ask (I'm a Demo too for SU) what do you charge for a class like this?
    Thanks! As always love visiting-

Hi, my name is Diana Gibbs and I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 1999. I never imagined getting up and talking to people, I am deaf (I wear hearing aids) so talking to strangers has never been a fun thing for me. But put a rubber stamp in my hand and I will talk to anyone.

I hope you can find inspiration and learn new and exciting things while you are here. If there is ever anything you want me to teach you, just let me know!
