Parisian Breeze Flowery Goodness

This 'n' That

5 Mar

I can not say enough about the new textured Specialty Designer Series Papers from Stampin' Up!…only that I want MORE!!!

I have my 10/10/20 Special Occasions class next weekend so I have my cards figured out and I fell in love with this one by Stephanie Hargis on Splitcoast Stampers, and so I pretty much copied it.  I did use the Parisian Breeze DSP on the actual flower as well cause I was using it elsewhere on this card and others, and I wanted the flowers to stand out more.  Hers look so gorgeous in the photo and mine seemed blah with just the Baja Breeze cardstock, so the DSP kicked it up a notch.  What ya think?

DSCN7192 copy Stamp Set: None….they can decide what they want on the inside at class

Paper: Whisper White, Kraft, Parisian Breeze Textured Specialty Designer Series Paper…what's that gonna be? TSDSP? – ha!

Ink: None

Misc: Cuttlebug folder, Stampin' Up! Little Leaves, Flower Daisies #2 Die

DSCN7193 copy Here is a close-up so you can see the Textured paper better.

Love it eh?

So American Idol, you knew I couldn't not say anything.  Well we were right on a couple, but shook our head on some of the ones they brought back in the wild card thing….OMG! Tatianna, could you hear me screaming??? That HAS to be just for ratings, although if they bring her through again, I think that I may just stop watching it. I would have rather they picked Norman over her. Oh well, there is worse things in the world to be worrying about or even talking about, but just had to speak my peace!

Have a great Thursday everyone, and thanks for stopping in!

When they announced her name, I paused the tivo, turned to my husband and said "there is no reason for me to watch this show anymore. Let me know when she gets voted off." And walked away.

She is the most annoying character EVER.

That is a very pretty card. Your guests will love it. I have not been watching American Idol. Paula makes me want to hack up a hairball …I thought about watching it….and in the beginning shows where they let that girl through that wore the bikini I was like uum..no – I am not watching this crap. Reality tv – yeah right..I'd rather watch the old doc on CSI carve up a cadaver anyday!

This is GORGEOUS, Di!!! I have those dies on the way to me right this very minute…can't wait to play with 'em now! I tivoed AI; but I did see on the news (don't we have better things to report on?!) that Tatianna was brought back. I can NOT believe it…but then again, it IS tv, and I guess we should expect stupid things to happen. The only award she should get is for most ANNOYING person EVER! I will definitely be fast-forwarding through any part of the show with her in it…ugh…whatever.

I just wanted to smack her last night when all she would say is "thank you so much". AAAHHHHH I also hadn't noticed that Kara kept hitting the table until you mentioned it. That was all I could see/hear last night when they went to her.

OK enough Idol. LOVE the card—Stephanie is one my favorite "visionaries". You did a great job !!!

Love the cards Di…and I just finished watching the wild card. What the heck? I had a theory that they would put three girls through to balance things out – 6 guys, 6 girls. At least I was proven wrong on that one…but … I dunno….I think that's it for me!
