Just Bee…

This 'n' That

12 Mar

…yourself. Nobody is better qualified!…and that's the truth…pffpht!!! Remember that TV show Laugh-In and Lily Tomlin would say that? Oh and one ringy dingy, two ringy dingy!  We need more shows like that.  I do want to see the new Osborne show at least once to see what that is like, I will have to see when it is on.  When we were at my Mum and Dad's this spring we watched an old Carol Burnett show with Tim Conway playing the butcher and he walks so slow and Eric, who has never seen the Carol Burnett show was laughing so hard, and it was fun to watch him watch it, I need to get those shows on DVD. I had a workshop tonight, I had a blast as usual.  I missed AI, so I don't even know who got kicked off, I have to go look it up…I'll be back – said like Arnold Schwarzenegger in Terminator…ok so it was Jasmine, who I thought was cute, and although they did not like her song, I think she did not do too bad, and I loved the song she sang, reminded me of the Jackson 5 when they were so cute, before they kinda made themselves all freaky looking, I apologize if you are a fan, but I don't know why people have to do that…OMG so I turned the tv channels around the other day and I saw Hunter Tylo and I thought what the heck happened to her, she used to be so beautiful and it looks like she has had some surgery on her face, and it makes me sad that these women do that, Lisa Rinna who I think is beautiful they showed her recently on the red carpet for something and it looks like she had something done too….ok there I go off on some tangent…reign it in Di…back to American Idol…the other person kicked off was Jorge, well I am not sad to see him go, he kinda was a little creepy. He reminded me of Kramer, and Anoop reminds me of Everybody loves Raymond.  Anoop looked so cute when they were showing him with his parents and he had on his shades……..how we got talking about Anoop, I don't know. I guess cause I thought he would have gone tonight instead of Jasmine.  I have to read the new rules or whatever and see what is going on.

So how bee, I show you another card for my class this weekend?

DSCN7214 copy Stamp Set: Just Buzzin' By, Gratuitious Graffiti, Itty Bitty Backgrounds

Paper: Baja Breeze, Kiwi Kiss, Riding Hood Red, Very Vanilla

Ink: Jetblack Stazon, Baja Breeze, Kiwi Kiss, Really Rust, Certainly Celery Craft (this is used on the background stamp and stamped on the Kiwi Kiss – it does not show in the picture, but it looks cool in real life)

Misc: Blender pens, watercolor pencils, scallop circle punch for cloud stencil shape, stamping sponge, 2 way glue pen, dazzling diamonds

I did this one with the watercolor pencils, cause it is easier to color on the vanilla cardstock with them, and a blender pen then it is with an aqua painter, and this way if they just want to color and not blend they can.

I love this set, and Nancy wanted to use this set at the 10/10/20 class, so if anyone does not like the card, I am gonna blame Nancy…ha! Just kidding….

Well off to bed I go…have an awesome Thursday…and thanks for stopping in!

A digibbs siggy

    The new rule is…
remember when a few times in the past someone was voted off way to early because people thought they would get enough votes and they didn't? Well now the judges have ONE chance to reverse that decision (just once over the whole show) Then the following week 2 will be booted. Once they use the "pass card" they can't do it again.
I think they can use this up to week 5..but I'm not sure about that.

I think Anoop should have been gone….don't think he sang very well. I know Jorge isn't that cute but he can sing better I think. 🙂
    Don't you love these shows!!!

What I thought was funny (and sorry, you missed it…) Randy was all "well, ya know it's time for you to go home." when they asked if hey were going to use the PASS to keep Jasmine longer and Simon just flat out said "No" when asked about Jorge. I don't know if it was because the producers were yelling to keep it short due to time (they did go over by like 7 minutes last night… don't you love live tv) or if it was just Simon not whitewashing it.
I'm not a HUGE Idol fan like some but I think the whole reason why they added the new rule is 'cuz they want to add more drama to the show. Why else would they put them all together in a big mansion "Big Brother" style??

Well, anywayz….. toodles! Have a great day!

Oh Di, I just love your blog and the way it always makes me smile/laugh. I missed AI last night as well, so I was grateful for the recap. My boss asked which one was Jorge and I said the one with the wandering eye and he said well that's a nice way to put it. I agreed with you that I just couldn't look at him.

I agree. We do need to have more shows like that. Too many violent shows. Anywho…
American Idol is all different. They are like little kids-changing the rules in the middle of the game. Or so it seems to me! 🙂

The little bee card is so cute.

Love the bee card – too cute. I also like the way you pieced the dress on the first card to coordinate with the BG DP.

    Love the card!
I can't wait to see the Osborne's show. It ought to be a hoot. Love the Carol Burnett show too. They don't make 'em like that anymore.
I totally agree about the overboard plastic surgery. Yikes! I might have a little work done if I had the money and the guts, but these ladies go nuts! They look downright scary after too much plastic surgery.

Hi, my name is Diana Gibbs and I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 1999. I never imagined getting up and talking to people, I am deaf (I wear hearing aids) so talking to strangers has never been a fun thing for me. But put a rubber stamp in my hand and I will talk to anyone.

I hope you can find inspiration and learn new and exciting things while you are here. If there is ever anything you want me to teach you, just let me know!
