…with all your kind words.
I am so glad that you enjoy coming to my blog often, whether it be every day, every week, or you just found me today. I am glad you are here.
The last couple days my posts went on and on, so today this one will be short and sweet…how’s that? I have lots of skulls to color, Eric’s Valentine thingie is on Monday, plus I have a workshop on Wednesday with 30 people and all my class stuff got here for my class next weekend, I have some things I am working on for Stampin’ Up! and they need them in a couple weeks….holy moly, I’ma gonna be busy!!
Since Eric started working, he works in the morning and then he goes to a day program in the afternoon. Sometimes they go bowling. He had never bowled before and he is really liking it, he even got two strikes the first time he played, he is lucky that way, we always tease we are taking him to Vegas. When we play Farkle he always wins, and when he doesn’t he just says “its ok, I can’t win all the time”. When I showed him this card, he was like “that’s cool”, and he REALLY liked the Diorama bowling card I did the other day.
So no futher ado, here is a fun card for you to check out, I did one of my favorite things to do, which is paper piece. Oh and I have some Flourishes stuff on it’s way, I actually won one of their new sets, how awesome is that? I was so surprised, a couple of my friends Debbie and Ann (Hey girls) emailed me and told me. One of the goodies coming screams to be paper pieced…that is all I will say, stay tuned, I will definitely show you, once it gets here and I “git ‘er done” – ha! Jeff’s watching the cable guy…can ya tell?
Stamp Set: Bowling Hanna
Paper: Whisper White, Tempting Turquoise, Real Red, Gina K Luxury, Pink Flamingo DSP
Ink: Memento Tuxedo, Copics
Misc: Dew drops, nestabilities, sewing machine, texture plate, glaze pen
I love when Hanna’s hair has the stripes in it, cause you can do wacky stuff with her then, and she looks so “hip”.
You know there is a real Hanna, and she helps design the stamps with her Mum Kristi, who owns Hanna Stamps! Did you also know that Riley is Hanna’s middle name…fun huh? I can see Mum and daughter working together as she grows up. What a great thing to bond them together don’t you think?
Tip: See how the foot (which is paper pieced) hangs outside of the main “frame”? I love to do this it draws your eye out. Well this is easy to do if you have something that is cut out-able, if that is even a word. I actually cut her foot off when I cut the white frame, and then cut out her foot that I had stamped on the DSP and glued over top….Voila! now her foot hangs out. I could have done it with the bowling ball too.
How about a “bowl” of icecream? I can’t get enough of this little boy on this commercial, when he laughs at the end, it is so cute, I really wish I knew what they did to make him laugh like that, cause he is truly having a grand old time. What do you think?
Ok, this old gal has some colorin’ and cuttin’ to do.
Oh and don’t forget you only have till noon Arizona time to enter for the Our Craft Lounge candy on my blog, after that I will turn off the comments, and random.org will pick the winner and I will post it. Good luck everyone!!!
Have a great Sunday, and thanks for stopping in!
You surely are not an "old gal" You are much to young and enjoyable to even consider yourself old…thanks for sharing! mary jo

TOO cute of a card, there, I have never paper-pieced, maybe when this strep goes away and I allow myself out of the confinement of my bedroom I will give it a whirl!
