What the Hail?

This 'n' That

9 Feb

Who says it always sunny and warm in Arizona? Look at what was going on today…

DSCN6972 …first off we had some rain, ok we had lots of rain…

…look at all the puddles, well maybe they are more then puddles, it will be a mess as it soaks in we live on a dirt road.

Check out Jeff's trees beyond the fence, he planted 10, and they will look so nice as they grow.  We have the property behind them up for sale so it will be nice for privacy.

So I parked my truck out so that mother nature could wash it, and then I was like what the heck is bouncing off my truck? So I ran out to bring it back under cover and…

DSCN6968 …well now we had hail!

Eric came running out the door "come look!, come look!" so I went…

DSCN6976 …wanna lounge? Maybe not!

It has been a long time since I have seen or touched anything like snow…well you can't count the freezer ice right?

DSCN6979 …so I went out and scooped me up a handful…it was verrrry cold!

OK enough of my weather report….

…I promised to show you some cards…

Here are some more cards I did for display stamping:

The hail was so loud up here that I thought our pool was a HUGE pot of boiling water. That's what it sounded like, a rapidly boiling pot of water. Was crazy!

Well, that lovely weather is going to hit us in the morning…we get hail a lot in the spring. Granted I haven't seen it pile up like that in a while! Hope you car is okay!
I love your "family" layout! The card with the bird is stunning!

And in Ontario Canada it felt like "Beach" weather. It was actually warm enough for people to get outside and take down their Christmas lights:)

Your scrapbook page is beautiful. I like the heritage look about it.

HHmmmm…. it hailed at my house too and I live in Tucson, AZ. I wonder how close we live to each other?

I'm new to your blog but as I check out your posts I'm really enjoying it.

Good luck from a fellow Arizonan. 😉

Hi, my name is Diana Gibbs and I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 1999. I never imagined getting up and talking to people, I am deaf (I wear hearing aids) so talking to strangers has never been a fun thing for me. But put a rubber stamp in my hand and I will talk to anyone.

I hope you can find inspiration and learn new and exciting things while you are here. If there is ever anything you want me to teach you, just let me know!
