You’re a Hoot!

This 'n' That

4 Jan

How fun is this?  Sweet ' n Sassy Stamps is sponsoring the sketch over at CPS and this is what it looks like. I love doing sketches with ovals or circles, I mean heck any chance to use my Big Shot, I take it. In fact my peanut butter and jam sandwiches have not been shaped more cuter in all my life………ok only kidding, I don't want anyone commenting that they have ruined their Big Shot by cutting bread with it, you totally have to toast it first…ha!

CPS98_Jan4_SweetnSassy  I inked up my fun Hoo Hoo There stamp from Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps.  I love these little guys with their big eyeballs, it's like they are looking at the caterpillar coming up the branch.

Maybe they were doing something they weren't supposed to be doing and they just got caught. I did color this card on New Years Eve and there was lots of smooching going on, on the TV makes me envision the Mum of the daughter saying "oh my gosh, I thought Delilah was going over to Susan's house! I just saw her in a lip lock on the Dick Clark show with that neighbor boy Anthony"  so maybe that is what the owls are checking out.

I stitched again, and OMG! I so am not good at it, Eric was right.  My stitches are so crooked and I can't figure out how to keep them even or how you manage to get them to end at the right spot on the corner, so when you spin the paper you are not too far in.  Any of you sewers (ha! – I couldn't resist) out there, please feel free to give me advice. I'll start a new column…Dear Di – where you can all give me advice….how's that? Cause you really don't want advice from me..Ha!!

DSCN6665 copy Stamp Set: Hoo Hoo There (SNSS), Owl Together Now (Stampin' Up!)

Ink: Palette Noir, Chocolate Chip, Creamy Caramel, Baja Breeze, Regal Rose, So Saffron, Kiwi Kiss, Old Olive, Tangerine Tango

Paper: Chocolate Chip, Whisper White, Watercolor Paper, Hawaii Papaya

Misc: sewing machine, nestabilities, aqua painter, blender pen, paper flowers, dewdrops

I am getting the rest of my oval nestabilities.  I am missing a set of the ovals regular and the ovals scallop cause right now, sometimes my oval is either too small or too big. Remember I told you to buy the four pack of nestabilities if they are available, this is why..ha!

Well have a great Sunday…tomorrow I can hardly wait the sneak peeks for the Hanna Stamps! January sets start. I am trying to figure out what one I want to show you first…decisions, decisions!

Thanks for stopping in!

Hugs, Di

What an adorable card! The image is coloured so beautifully, and the layout works so well. I just noticed your review on E. Sawtell and I have to agree. The way you said you felt betrayed sums it up well. I think the way you put it was even better than I worded my horror. It took me two weeks to get over the ending and I just couldn't get it off my mind. Stephen King said it was a book he'd read again. Of course it is, the ending was exactly the way he would have written it. I follow Stephen's books and his ends are always awful. After pondering the book for so long, I determined that the writer was writing the book in the eyes of the dogs, and about the dogs. What do you think?

Hi, my name is Diana Gibbs and I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 1999. I never imagined getting up and talking to people, I am deaf (I wear hearing aids) so talking to strangers has never been a fun thing for me. But put a rubber stamp in my hand and I will talk to anyone.

I hope you can find inspiration and learn new and exciting things while you are here. If there is ever anything you want me to teach you, just let me know!
