Wanna Go For a Spin?

This 'n' That

5 Jan

So Jeff and his friend Bernie went hunting/camping for a few days.  Took the trailer and everything…you know "roughin' it".  Seems that Bernie was calling his wife Georgia every day, just for a few minutes to check on her, and so she knew he was ok.  Hmmm…didn't hear a peep from my old man till they drove in the lane today.  Georgia showed up almost at noon to pick up Bernie (he called her to tell her where they were) and said they were 5 minutes away…again I say Hmmm….  So I asked Jeff "why didn't you call?" seems his phone was dead, and he had to plug it in the truck, and he could not get a signal out there, yet Bernie could. Meanwhile I'm thinkin'..yeah you're thinkin' it too.  Say it with me…..Couldnt he have asked to use Bernie's phone?  Nope he's a freakin' man, and he can't do that…heck if it was a woman I'd be like " Hey Tracy (that's my BFF) could I use your phone real quick to call Jeff to check on him?"  I mean heck the house coulda burned down for all he knew…ok enough of that vent-fest.

So today starts the sneak peeks for the new Hanna Stamps! January sets.  You are gonna love them, and don't forget about the savings too on orders through January, if you enter the word SUPPORT in the code part of the order you will save 10%.

So I have been wondering which one do I want to show you first?  Well while Jeff was out hunting/camping…I did tell you that right? Oh yeah, I did…ha!  Anyway, I colored up this one and I want to show it first, it has a little bit of Arizona in it, and well this time of year I love Arizona, it rains a little and the weather is so cool, I can actually wear a jacket, and yet I do NOT have to shovel any SNOW!

DSCN6699 copy Here's a tid bit of it!

For some stinkin' reason my pictures are too big, even though I am doing the same thing I have always done. I don't know, hopefully if you click on them, they will go big enough for you to look at them.

This is little Riley on his motorcycle, isn't he cute? And he is very smart and is wearing his helmet.

Seems he is out in the desert riding his motorcycle by the looks of it.  Wonder if he is with anyone? Let's pan out shall we and see…

DSCN6700 copy Yep, seems he has a friend…that would be Riley with his car.

Aren't they cute, they remind me of a couple kids pretending to be adults and chasing each other in their play cars.

I used other stamp sets too to make my desert scene.

Stamp Sets: Riley Car, Riley Motorcycle, Ahoy Hanna, Route 66 Hanna, Itty Bitty Backgrounds

Ink: Memento Tuxedo, Baja Breeze, Creamy Caramel, Really Rust, Copic Markers

Paper: Creamy Caramel, Basic Black, Ghostly Greetings, Gina K Luxury White

Misc: gel pen

So make sure you keep checking back through the week, and go check out the rest of the Hanna Stamps! design team members to see what they have up their sleeve, I know I am!  Make sure you remember the Hanna Stamps! Release party Thursday night at 9pm ET over at Splitcoaststampers. There will be challenges and prizes, and lots of laughs.

Have a great Monday, the old man is back to work and yeah Eric's paperwork all went through so he is set for work AND the day program, he is so excited.  Has his lunch box all ready…well it ain't packed it is sitting on the counter.

Thanks for stopping in!

Hugs, Di

LOVE it! I was just browsing through the Rileys the other day, window shopping because I haven't bought any yet. I know which is going to be my 1st Riley now! Gotta love a moose on a scooter!

Oh I TOTALLY understand!!! My DH did that to me while he was in Mexico!! I KNOW right?! Needless to say, after I didn't hear from him for about 2 days, I called his brother, who is in the force, who then called down to the San Diego CHP office to put out a look out for his brothers! LOL They never let me live this one down… but I was worried! ๐Ÿ™‚

I can totally relate! Many years ago when my hubby and I were first married and he started traveling for work I wouldn't hear from him for days. And he didn't leave me his travel itinerary so I had no way to contact him. I sat him down and we had a heart-to-heart… Now, he calls me nearly every day when he travels. Seriously, I think some times they just don't "get it" unless we educate them. LOL

Hi, my name is Diana Gibbs and I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 1999. I never imagined getting up and talking to people, I am deaf (I wear hearing aids) so talking to strangers has never been a fun thing for me. But put a rubber stamp in my hand and I will talk to anyone.

I hope you can find inspiration and learn new and exciting things while you are here. If there is ever anything you want me to teach you, just let me know!
