There is a great contest going on over at Paper Craft Planet, that Melissa from Pink Cat Studio is hosting. Just click on that link to get the details. You have until January 13th to email your card to Melissa.
This is the first time evah that I have done… I guess you would call it digital? I don't know…but anyway you will get the PDF file and then you print it out and color it, make a card and email the card to enter. There is an awesome prize too. I know I'm hoping to win. I ain't gonna lie to you.
Wanna see what I did? You don't? Oh well, close your eyes for a minute.
Paper: Tempting Turquoise, Whisper White, Pixie Pink, Gina K. Luxury cardstock
Misc: Pretties half back pearls, cuttlebug embossing folders, Top Note Die.
Now I was totally surprised I could do this, cause I thought for sure the ink would smear, I have not tried to use my aqua painter though, I just used the Copics cause that is what my sister Jacqui said was working for her. I wonder if I had my old ink jet printer I may have had a problem, cause that smeared if you got it wet, but with my new Epson it has some sort of ink that dries really well and does not smear. I just tried to be extra careful and not burnish the colors onto the black lines. But this was so much fun, and I know that The Greeting Farm has some digital images too, and I may have to try some more…they mention a zip file, and my mind goes "what?" Heck as it is I had to have Jacqui, my computer guru, (she's younger, and she is way smarter than me) help me with my computer tonight, not only do I miss her to pieces, but she is dang handy to have around for all your computer problems. I updated my virus protection yesterday, and I have been having trouble with it ever since, acting slow, getting hung up, having to re-boot all the time. Jacqui said that ( just think The Honeymooners' Ralph's friend ) virus protection is not very good and it does stuff to your computer, so she had me uninstall it and download a free version of something else, and so far so good, it is working way faster, so my fingers are crossed, lucky rabbit's foot is clutched in my hand as I type…
…cause last night as I was trying to ADD TO MY BLOG (it kept getting hung up and making me re-boot)…I said that in capitals so that my hubby can read it, he needs to use readers, poor guy, I've had glasses since 7th grade…he looks very distinguished with them on…but don't tell him I said that…anyway…Jeff wanted me to mention, that the not phoning goes both ways, I will go to convention for days and not call him. I remember my first Stampin' Up! convention 10 years ago, I was so excited to be there I don't think I called him till the night before I flew home so he knew when to pick me up. So there ya go sweetheart, I am not perfect either. I do love you!
So anyway, what did you say? Oh another Hanna Stamps! sneak peek? You wanna see two cards in one post? Well…gee twist my rubber (pun intended) arm…I'd show them all, but I want to milk them as long as I can…
Here is another one of my favorites…
Stamps: Riley Aerobic
Ink: Memento Tuxedo, Copics
Paper: Tempting Turquoise, Whisper White, Basic Black, Pixie Pink, Gina K Luxury cardstock, Rainbow Sherbet DSP (not retiring – yeah!!!!!!)
