Hey, I moved the retired list under my post…I wanted to come to the blog and see something pretty (I am thinking you do too) and not a chart, so just scroll down to see the updated list, I am not sure where it will actually go, but scroll till you see it, OK. Added later: OMG! So I just totally re-read this, and I don't mean my old face when I said see something pretty, I meant a card….ha!
Well did I have fun today? Did a little chattin', facebookin', uploadin', and most of all stampin'! I have a 10/10/20 Thank you card class coming up and I gotta get these cards designed. My in-laws are in town and staying at my sister in laws this week, so this needs to get done, so when they get here on the weekend, I can actually visit with them a bit…while I stamp..ha!
A bunch of my friends are at the Stampin' Up! Leadership in Orlando, looking at the new catalog!! I have seen a few sneak peeks and I can hardly wait to get my hands on it, and get my first order in. I was not able to go to Leadership this year, so it seems a little odd that I am not there, I have not missed an event in, gee 10 years. I am sure they are having a blast and I sent hugs with Rhonda and MAMMa to pass around.
So what cards did I do today? Well I am only gonna show you one. This is using one of the new sets from the catalog that you can start ordering out of on January 19…can ya believe it? I knew I had to have it as soon as I saw it. This is my version of this card from gabby89 over at SCS.
Stamp Set: Rustic Rooster, All Holidays
Paper: Chocolate Chip, White Naturals, Bella DSP
Ink: Riding Hood Red, Kiwi Kiss, So Saffron
Misc: Alpine Ribbon Originals, Brass Brads, Cutter Kit, Scallop punch
Now I did not color, I know I hear ya WHAT?? Nor/or (I think it's nor) did I do any sewing machine stitching and I think I might have if I was just making this card for me, but this card is for a 10/10/20 class and those girls would kill me. They have 10 different cards to make…believe me some of the cards will have to be colored, but I don't know if I will ever have anyone really have to sew on their card in a class..never say never though right?
Ok remember me telling you I would be teaching a class or two at a retreat in Prescott in March? Well all the details are finally completed, so please go to Prescott Pines Camp and check it out. I would love to see you there. It would be fun to fill up the class with people I already know, and hey won't it be nice to get out of town for a weekend and stamp? I'm already packed..ha!
Well have a super Thursday, make sure to come say hi to me tonight at the Hanna Stamps! forum over at Splitcoaststampers at 9pm ET. Lotsa fun and prizes too.
Thanks for stopping in! Oh and P.S. to prrr….ha! Mwha! Love ya!
Hugs, Di
Love your card! I have been holding out on getting a rooster stamp, but I think I am caving. Thanks for enabling me! Great colors!
Uh Oh… I'm gonna have to have this stamp – love chickens/roosters! Thanks for the preview – he's really cute!
You card is so pretty. It looks so country. Very nice. The colors are great too.
Gorgeous! I like your card better than the one that inspired yours. LOL (Shh! let's keep that between you and me)
Oh… and you know I'm going to need to request my catalogs (one for me, one for sis).
