Adorable Anya

This 'n' That

12 Jan

Have you ever made a card, or even a scrapbook page…even knitted a scarf…just something that you love doing and when you get it done, you hold it at arms length and you just smile from ear to ear? Well that is what I did when I finished this card.  The Greeting Farm had a little fashion show contest and this is the card I submitted.

I pulled out some of my retiring Parisian Summer DSP and did a little bit of paper piecing, I found an old button in a jar, I added a couple little blings every so often on the pearl necklace, did a little cuttlebuggin', used the nestabilities, I added a few little freckles on the doggies snout, and the famous Top Note Die, and voila'..the cutest card. Don't ya think?

Anya Fashion Show Diana Gibbs Stamp Set: Pretty Hat

Paper: Pink Pirouette, Very Vanilla, Parisian Summer DSP, Watercolor Paper

Ink: Jetblack Stazon, Blush Blossom, Pink Pirouette, Bashful Blue, So Saffron, Creamy Caramel, Going Gray, More Mustard, Real Red, Brocade Blue, Bordering Blue, Basic Gray

Misc: Top Note Die, Nestabilities, Cuttlebug, Pink Pirouette Striped ribbon, little bling things, button

So I need to apologize to you about my tutorial, I went to do it and my printer is out of ink (that gives you a hint of what I am using anyway), it wont let me print unless I put a cartridge in even though I don't want that color, so I promise that I will go to the store and get ink and I will do it tomorrow, plus I found out exciting news today and that will make it even more fun to show you…maybe it was fate!

Have a great Monday, I am headed over to MAMMa's to see the new catalog (she has her Leadership copy) and I can hardly wait. I really miss her.

Thanks so much for stopping in!

Hugs, Di

Hi, my name is Diana Gibbs and I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 1999. I never imagined getting up and talking to people, I am deaf (I wear hearing aids) so talking to strangers has never been a fun thing for me. But put a rubber stamp in my hand and I will talk to anyone.

I hope you can find inspiration and learn new and exciting things while you are here. If there is ever anything you want me to teach you, just let me know!
