Wonderland

3-D Items

26 Dec

OMG! I was checking out Sandra's blog the other day and happened upon the Twilight Bunnies, I fell in love with the little cuties, so I went to check out where they came from and this is it. Pink Poison, so I did a leetle bit of shopping and look what I made.

Pink poison wonderland  Stamp Set: Wonderland

Ink: Memento Tuxedo, Copics

Paper: Basic Black, Real Red, Jackpot DSP, Gina K Luxury cardstock

Misc: Embossing folder, nestabilities, tafetta ribbon dyed black with copic marker. Funky brads from NC's ebay store.

I went a little nuts coloring the little guy and the card is like 6×6 I need to cut him smaller next time, as soon as I saw this set I thought of this paper, perfect for the little guy, the only thing…and this is the anal part of me, I did not realize until AFTER he was colored and cut out, that the Jackpot paper has vanilla not white, so it looks a little odd, I want to do one using my old faithful watercolor paper, aqua painter, and ink pads.  But he is so much fun, I also got a couple more sets that I will show you some other time.

Remember a while ago I showed you my Hanna To Do Frame? Well when my sister in law Patty (hey girl) was over here a couple weeks ago, she loved the frame and said that would be a great gift to give to Emma (her daughter, my neice) for Christmas and I thought hey that's easy enough I will do it for all the girls.

So here are the frames:

Emma to do frame  Emma's frame, she likes pink, so I went with pink and she has a bit darker hair then the other girls. She is the youngest of the neices out here in Arizona.

I also gave them a little bundle of dry erase markers tied with ribbon that matched the DSP in the frame.

I made the girls a vertical frame instead of mine that was horizontal.  I could not find the flat frames in order to do the rub-ons, but I loved the roughness of these frames, plus they had the little hangie-jigs on the back so if they want to hang them on the wall they can.

Emma and her to do frame Here is Emma using her frame, she was coloring on it and doing all sorts of things on it, I think she really liked it.

We were saying it would be great to keep track of chores or when school starts back homework and stuff like that.

The other girls were with their Mum for Christmas, so Tim, their Dad will take their frames to them.

But here they are.

Frankie to do frame Frankie's Frame – she's the oldest of the neices out here in Arizona, and the colors on this one looked a bit more grown up.

Charlie to do frame Here is Charlie's Frame – she is the middle neice out here, and this DSP looked like her.

I hope they like them as much as Emma liked hers, they were fun to do.

I had someone comment on my blog and I went to check her out ( I am nosy like that, plus I have found the awesomest blogs by doing that) and then next thing you know I am clicking on this link and lookie what I found? You have a chance to win some brandy new stamps, so go check out Spiral Whisper , so steenking cah-ute!!

I hope I win…oh wait, I mean I hope you win! Ha!

I am loving all your comments on the blog candy and it sounds like most of you are the same as me…need to organize…heck look at the way I left my work table today.

Messy desk Thank goodness I have a bit longer to start that New Years Resolution for tidying up and organizing.

Well I got me some stampin' to do (a bit of cleaning up first though!)  I hope you all had a Merry Christmas and those of you Canadian readers, have a great Boxing Day, and everyone else, if you are one of those people that like to go shopping the day after Christmas, I'll be thinking of you while I am in my nice quiet..well maybe not quiet…but I am staying home!  I hope you get some screamin' deals though!

Thanks for stopping in!

Hugs, Di

I love the frames Di. What a great idea for the girls. I am sure they will all love them.

And yes.. I took advantage of some boxing day sales. Went over to the Bella sale and bought some stamps, etc. However the traffic going into the mall was backed up onto the highway – so I gave up. I don't need anything that bad.

    Happy stamping (and cleaning).

Ooooooooooooooo!!! That is an awesome card Di!!! I love the bold color choices – perfect for the Mad Hatter! 😀 You've inspired me! I haven't had a chance to sit at my desk today. I've been finding new homes for all the new Christmas presents, did 5 loads of laundry and my 3 year old has wanted me to play with all her toys today….after she goes to bed tonight…I'm Mama's time! 😀 I bought book 2 of the Twilight series for my ipod yesterday so I'll just be me, Edward and some rubber tonight. I meant rubber stamps! Get you mind out of that gutter girl! hahahahaha 😉

Hi, my name is Diana Gibbs and I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 1999. I never imagined getting up and talking to people, I am deaf (I wear hearing aids) so talking to strangers has never been a fun thing for me. But put a rubber stamp in my hand and I will talk to anyone.

I hope you can find inspiration and learn new and exciting things while you are here. If there is ever anything you want me to teach you, just let me know!
