Udderly Fantastic

This 'n' That

6 Dec

I am so addicted to Stampin' Up! Designer Series Paper (DSP), I swear I can't make a card without it. And guess what came in the mail today?

Raspberry tart Can you see it? This is some new DSP that will be available in February…it's called Raspberry Tart, well some of it should be called Raspberry Fart, cause it looks kinda pepto bismolish, but that is what I love about the DSP, it is double sided so you use the side you like.

Isn't this cool looking? I used a couple different pieces for the card.

So I played around with my Whipper Snapper Birthday Cow stamp, remember I told you I would show you in December? Well this is the card I did for the 12 Days of Christmas over at Paper Craft Planet. It was maids a milking day and you could use a cow….moo!

Titties I added some rain drops on the udders (hence the blog title), and does it not make them look fantastic?

They look so real and glisteny, I so wanted to pierce one but although I have oodles of stuff in my studio, tiny little hoop earings I don't have, but believe me if I find one, I will definitely be piercing this baby down the road!

I also used the sketch from Splitcoast stampers to make this card, and really it is pretty darned big, it is more like a poster instead of a card, but hey I think I'm keeping this gem.

Here is the sketch.SC205

Whipper snapper party cow full Here is my card, I turned the sketch upside down, you are allowed to do that.

Stamp Set: Party Cow (Whipper Snapper)

Ink: Jetblack Stazon, Kiwi Kiss, Going Gray, Basic Gray, Summer Sun, More Mustard, Baja Breeze, Pacific Point, Cameo Coral, Pixie Pink, Blush Blossom, Pink Pirouette (Stampin' Up!)

Paper: Basic Black, Kiwi Kiss, Watercolor Paper, Raspberry Tart DSP (Stampin' Up!)

Misc: A Perfect Day Rub-ons, Riding Hood Red Striped Ribbon, White gel pen (Stampin' Up!), Black & Sunflower Dewdrops (Hanna Stamps), Rain Drops (gosh I am not sure where I got these)

So my 12 Days of Christmas special for Saturday is drum roll please… Designer Series Paper.

I hope you have enjoyed this udderly adorable card…..thanks for stopping in!

Hugs, Di

L love your card! I didn't really like the colours of the DSP (I mean pink and green!) but when you put them together on your card they're great togther, I might have to rethink this, LOL.

Hi, my name is Diana Gibbs and I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 1999. I never imagined getting up and talking to people, I am deaf (I wear hearing aids) so talking to strangers has never been a fun thing for me. But put a rubber stamp in my hand and I will talk to anyone.

I hope you can find inspiration and learn new and exciting things while you are here. If there is ever anything you want me to teach you, just let me know!
