Today’s Blog Card Brought to You By…

This 'n' That

22 Dec

…Jeff Gibbs!

That's right folks Jeff made this card just for YOU! Want proof?

Jeff coloring his first card Here he is sitting at my table coloring, look at his great posture…you don't want to see me all hunched over coloring…ha!

I gave him a quick little lesson on coloring with the copics and I let him go, well actually he was like "leave me alone" and he would not let me look till he was done. He did not want his picture taken but I took it anyway and he was like "want me to stop?" and I was like No!! But then he said I could post it. What a guy eh?

So wanna see the card? OK, now just so you know he just colored the image and I did the rest, I left it pretty simple cause it is a masculine card.

Jeff's first card full Stamp Set: Pat the Good Dog

Ink: Memento Tuxedo, Copics

Paper: Holiday Treasures DSP, Chocolate Chip, Gina K Luxury Cardstock

Misc: Old Olive Brads

He did not bad eh? Jeff took art in school and he can draw pretty much anything, but he keeps telling me he needs to practice, but I think he did great! In fact if you look close enough you can see he even drew in the shadow of Pat on the ground, I was like what the heck? Pretty smart huh?

Jeff's first card closeup See?

I have to get him to sign the back, cause I am definitely keeping this one.

I have had a headache and back ache most of the day so spent most of it in bed. My friend Jeanne said that they could be PMS migraines, and well it could be…I will have to remember to maybe write down when I get them, I am sure that is what is up with my back.

So I promise I will be busy tomorrow and get stamping, I have got a few images colored up, I just need to make them into cards.

I hope you have enjoyed this card by the artist known as Jeff Gibbs.

Have a great Monday and thanks for stopping in!

Hugs, Di

Hey Di, look out – you have some competition here. I love the card – it's simple in design but very creative. Love the shadow under the dog who looks like he's having so much fun! Love it – it's so cute and puts a smile on your face just looking at it.

OMG where do I start!!! Well the first thing that caught my attention ( well the second, Jeff's picture was the first!!!) was the shadow!! Awesome Creativity!!! Then I giggled as I read "Do ya want me to Stop!!!!" Steve to a "T". Enjoys it but doesn't want anyone else to know nor wants to make a habit out of it, am I right Jeff!?
So has he made anything yet with his Shop Smith!!?? We want to see it blogged when he does!!
    Love Ya's!!

My hubby made my best friend a card, ONLY her, & she said she'll never throw it away b/c she knows that this isn't his thing. hehe
