So I had a lot of fun today. First off I cleaned and organized my studio. I love doing this, and well I purged stuff too. Nothing makes me happier then my studio being tidy….now of course once I start working on stuff, it does not take long for it to get messed up again, but I need to start my new years resolution right now, to put stuff away when I am done with it.
I will show a few things here and then the rest you can see under Stampin' Studio to the left. If you click on it a bunch of pictures come up, if you click on the picture it will get bigger so you can see more. We converted our 2 car garage gosh maybe 5 years or more ago and turned it into my studio…nothing fancy, concrete floor, eclectic amounts of furniture but it works…some day, when I win the lottery, I am getting a professional to come in and re-do it!
But for now here goes:
This is where I sit all day…when I stamp…the computer is elsewhere, pretty much everything is in arms reach.
Once we got the Big Shot I had to exchange the big long banquet table for a shorter one from the center of my room where people sat for class, and use it for my Cutter, Big Shot Station.
The black bins in the back are where I keep my cardstock scraps, you would be amazed how much paper you save if you cut from a scrap before you cut from a full piece of cardstock. Under the table is my workshop totes. A little trick my friend Mary Polcin taught me, put blocks under the table legs so you don't kill your back when you are cutting.
My ribbon jar, same thing extra pieces go in here, I really need to tie a bunch in to bows, bag em up and door prize them…that bag 'o bows goes fast every time!!
My Hanna To-Do frame, as you can see its loaded again with stuff to do.
Do you know the proper way to store your brayer? Well you don't have to hang them up like this…this just keeps them out of the way for me…but it is important to NOT store them resting on the rubber part of the brayer, as it will develop over time a flat edge. So hang em or make sure to rest them on the plastic edge.
This is my supply cabinet. If you look closely you will see my forget me not keepers, once filled with cards, that now I have my contraband stamps in. Shhh!!!!
Here is also glitter, embossing powders, ribbon storage, refills.
As you can tell I am a basket junkie. I love to find baskets with liners in them..Ross Dress for less is a great place.
The striped one by the forget me not keepers was actually one we got on our Stampin' Up! cruise to the mexican riviera, I just pulled the fabric down the side. It actually is more like a purse.
This is the top shelf of the same cabinet. See those boxes? Those cute little brown ones with the metal edges, and label do-hickees? Can you believe I got those in Canada when I was at my sisters, they have a dollar store called Dollarama, and OMG it is so awesome, the dollar stores we have in Arizona are mostly Dollar-crapa.
OK, the rest of the stuff you can find over to the left in the photo album labeled Stampin' Studio, so I don't bore ya!
I also wanna show you a fun project I worked on today. Hence the Blog title…
Since Christmas is right around the corner, we all need tags for our presents right? Well when Rhonda and I were shopping for our Summer Smash Stamping Bash we found 2 of these red tins, of course we could not find anymore, which turned out fine cause we found those awesome kiwi kiss ones instead but anyway, I took one and Rhonda took one and this is what I did with mine. I pulled out one of my Molly Stamps sets and stamped my little heart away…I actually pulled out my Wings on Things set too and made a really nice card, but you'll have to wait for next week to see that one…
Stamp Set: Post Office
Ink: Hybrid Pallete Noir, Blush Blossom, Pink Pirouette, Sahara Sand, Going Gray, Riding Hood Red, Baja Breeze, Creamy Caramel, Basic Gray
Paper: Holiday Treasures DSP, Watercolor paper, Riding Hood Red Textured Paper
Misc: Riding Hood Red Wide Striped ribbon, Big Shot Scallop Circle, Nestabilities.
Some of these are cards. Like the stink eye Santa card…hee!hee! I like calling him that. Of course when I get coal in my stocking Christmas morning, I'll be sorry right?
So you can write something inside or stick a little gift card or something in there. Actually Santa is probably saying to me, here's nothing…that'll teach ya for calling me names…ha!
Some are just tags that don't open.
They all used the big striped ribbon, it is probably overkill for these cards but man I love it, and well it will make the package look so awesome.
So as I sit here and type this I am listening to John Corbett sing "Simple Man" OMG! Remember him in Sex and the City, yummy, and just listening to him sing gets ya all remembering how sexy he was cause his singing voice is like his talking voice….ahhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ok, now I am headed over to finish up adding my pics to the side, then I gotta get supper ready, and back out here to work on my Hanna stuff.
Oh yeah, and my 12 Days of Christmas special for today is Punch Madness!
Have a great Thursday, and thanks for stopping in!
Hugs, Di

Oh my gosh Di!!! Your space is my dream room!! Wow! I used to have a room until we sold our house, now I have a corner of our apartment living room with a desk that's half the size of your brown desk with all my stuff stashed underneath it! That's it. It's sooooo sad! 😀 Thanks for sharing the yummy pictures!
Wow, what a great room! What is it that you have your punches all hanging on? Punch storage is so tough, yours look so organized and accessible!
Just wondering where you got your spinner rack for selling cards..could you let me know when you have a chance..your studio looks wonderful and I am so excited about the block tip…my back kills me when I am preparing for a workshop..Thanks…Deidre M
Your tags are adorable! Love them!
Oh… and if you see some strange woman loitering around your house, it will probably be me. After seeing your pics of how you've cleaned up your studio I think I need to come see it in person! lol (You don't shoot first, ask questions later do you?)
Terrific tags, Diane! Love all your cards too.
I LOVE your stampin room. How awesome and neat!!!
I can't believe you don't LOVE your Carl cutter. I just got one for my birthday and I love it. When I get through cutting a stack of cardstock, ALL of the cardstock is so neat and even. It does suck for little pieces, but the rest…well, I love mine!!!
Thanks for sharing your gorgeous room with us!!
