Messin’ Around

This 'n' That

7 Dec

So I was playing around on the computer, and I wanted to see Faith Hill's video for "Baby Changes Everything" and well you all know my ears are bad, and not only do I like the words on the tv, I also like to have the lyrics to songs so I can read them at least once…have you all seen the show Name the Lyrics or something?  I aint the only one that can't understand the words to songs…but I have this one site I always go for Lyrics…it is www.lyrics.com and they have videos now as well, how cool is that? You can watch the video and read the words at the same time. So I thought I would look for Johnny Cash and look at this video I found…what a youngun he was here eh?

So I need to be figuring out my Big Shot class for next weekend, but I wanted to whip up a fun card using the new Hanna Stamps! Riley stamp called Van, and well I altered it a little bit, to be my friend Curtis driving a vehicle that comes to my house quite often, and brings me lots of fun new toys, my little embellishments on the top are litle stamps, I used them instead of brads, or dewdrops, even though I had colored me up some chocolate dewdrops to use, I thought these little stamps looked cute.

What do you think?

DSCN6514 copy Stamp: Riley Van (Hanna Stamps!), Itty Bitty Backgrounds,  Stella Stamper (Stampin' Up!)

Paper: Very Vanilla, Chocolate Chip, Watercolor Paper, Ski Slope DSP, Windsor Knot DSP

Ink: Jetblack Stazon, Creamy Caramel, Close to Cocoa, Baja Breeze, Really Rust, Going Gray, Basic Gray, Sahara Sand, More Mustard

Misc: Paper Piercer, White gel pen, Nestabilities

I got this sketch from Taylored Expressions, and I thought it was so neat, I had to turn it on its side cause of the way the stamp is so I don't think it is as nice as if it was supossed to be. There are so many blogs out there that I am so glad there is something called Google Reader cause it keeps me up to date.  The sketches I just print them out and I keep them in a book and I go back to them over and over.

I am so excited cause tomorrow my girlfriends Shannon and Melissa and I are going to go see Twilight.  Shannon and I have not seen it yet but Mel has.  They are too funny, cause they both read the books so fast they had to re-read them…I took my time and read them once….my sister Jacqui and her best friend Vicki went to see it and loved it, so I am hoping I do too.

Have a great Sunday and thanks for stopping in!

Hugs, Di

Hi, my name is Diana Gibbs and I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 1999. I never imagined getting up and talking to people, I am deaf (I wear hearing aids) so talking to strangers has never been a fun thing for me. But put a rubber stamp in my hand and I will talk to anyone.

I hope you can find inspiration and learn new and exciting things while you are here. If there is ever anything you want me to teach you, just let me know!
