Guess what? Yep there's Magnolia's in the house! Now I don't mean the flower, I mean these stinkin' adorable stamps. The first time I saw them I was like, oh my gosh, look at their faces, and they have accessories and stuff too.
So yeah, I got a shipment notice in the mail, and I was like what the heck is that? Cause they did not come from where I expected them. So when Jeff brought in the mail today, I opened up the envelope very curious and I was so very happy to see them.
Here is my first one, and oh my gosh I hope you can not tell when I actually posted this, but I will tell you I didn't have to change the date till the next day, cause I am actually posting it on the right day this time.
Stamp: Sitting with Hair Bow, Brickwall
Ink: Jetblack Stazon, Blush Blossom, Pink Pirouette, Pretty in Pink, Creamy Caramel, Really Rust, So Saffron, Regal Rose, Brocade Blue
Paper: So Saffron, Basic Black Textured, Georgia Peach CSP, Watercolor Paper
Misc: So Saffron Ribbon, Nestabilities, Cuttlebug Folder
I did a little bit of paper piecing on the ribbon in her hat and on the cuff of her pants. Let me tell ya, she was like heaven to color. I will go to sleep with a smile on my face. The So Saffron ribbon casts a bit of a shadow on her in the picture, and I really need to remember to crop my photos eh? I was just so excited to get her done. I did not put a greeting cause I am not sure what I want the card to say, and I can always put it on the inside.
Here is a side view of her, I will need to look up her name, I wanna say Tilda or something like that.
I cut off the bottom of circle behind her to make the fence stand out more.
I also got a brick wall and 2 other girls, they are screaming to be inked but I have my Big Shot class Saturday so that needs to get cut for.
I will show you one of the things they are making in class tomorrow.
Well today is the big day, Graduation day for Eric. He is very excited and so are we.
I need to remember my camera and to change the batteries.
Oh and I added an Album over at Paper Craft Planet for people to upload their stamp rooms, and organization ideas. So I would love for you to add your pictures, I love looking at people's spaces. When you upload just make sure that where it says tag: (where you tag your photo) you want to put this word just like this pcpstampingspaces that way I can find your pictures and add them to the album. We still have to manually do that.
Have a super duper Friday, and thanks for stopping in!
Hugs, Di
Super well done on your first Magnolia.
Just beautiful, Di! Love your rockin' layout and sweet colors!
Beautiful card!
