I love this new little bee set that is going to be available in the new catalog from Stampin' Up! starting in February! In fact when I made the little top note box at my Big Shot class, I told the girls that if they liked the set I could use it for my upcoming stamp set class, and they said yes. That is a class where when you arrive you get your own set and we do 4-5 projects. I love these kinda classes, cause I am so not a patient person, when I see something I want, I want it then…yeah feel sorry for my hubby, he has so much patience, not me…maybe I should see about a pill for that…as well as my headache the other night, my sister said I should get some migraine meds. But these would be my favorite kinda class if I was going to a class, so when I leave with my completed projects I get to take my own set home to start stamping right away.
So I wanted to use my new set again, and whip up a card, we went out to eat tonight, and picked up a few things at Walmart and one of those was the movie Mamma Mia, I enjoyed it just as much the third time, and will watch it many times, the next time I wanna play the sing-a-long version and watch the bonus DVD too. I made Jeff watch it and he said it was good for a musical. What a guy! I am sure he won't ever watch it again though…but that's ok. So I had to do a quickish kinda card.
Paper: Whisper White, Real Red, Jackpot DSP, Gina K Luxury cardstock
Ink: MementoTuxedo, Copics
Misc: Word Window punch, white gel pen, paper piercer, white tafetta ribbon
Pardon me? What was that? Where is the white tafetta ribbon? Well it's right there…
Oh yeah I forgot, how freakin' cool is this? I colored the white tafetta ribbon with my copic marker, and it dried lickety split. I am so buying many many yards of white tafetta ribbon, and it will be in so many different colors, your head will spin, cause you will go, how many times is she gonna use that freakin' tafetta ribbon? ha! I am sure it works with other ribbon too, but I have not tried.
So my downline Christmas party is tomorrow, we do a shoebox and a potluck, so I am gonna get off here and clean my studio and hit the hay, so I can get up early.
My hubby is so excited he is going to pick up a new toy in the morning, he bought a Shop Smith from our friends Cindy and Larry. My Poppa used to have one and I can remember how it sounded as he started it up. When my Poppa died they had an auction and if we lived in Canada it would have been mine, but living in Arizona no way was it possible. So we are pretending that this is Poppa's, but it kinda is, cause it was Larry's Poppa's Shop Smith. Jeff even cleaned out the barn/shed to put it in. Looks like I need to start a new Honey Do List…maybe I can stamp up a cute little note pad with these cute little bees….Honey Do List…get it? Ha!
Don't forget free shipping on orders of $70.00 ends on December 23rd. I know I am going to take advantage of it for upcoming classes, and remember lots of white tafetta ribbon. Ha!
Have a great Saturday, this is the last weekend to get that shopping taken care of, be safe out there!
Thanks for stopping in!
Hugs, Di
