…what would you wish for? I think every day it changes for me. Sometime I just wish for more time. Time to get ready for Christmas, time to spend with my family, time to just stamp, time to go home to see my family, time to get all the laundry done, time to clean the house, time…time…time…
I have my Christmas cards all labeled and have to take them and my gifts to the PO tomorrow, Eric is wanting to pick up a little something for his girlfriend, he asked all on his own too. Makes my heart swell with pride. He is such a good boy man – gosh that is a hard word to say…he seems to be growing up fast right now.
So Eric has not started work, his VR lady filled out the wrong paperwork so that is delaying it, tonight she called about something else, it makes me want to scream. Believe me I will be doing more then screaming if it does not get straightened around soon. I learned the squeaky wheel gets the grease, sometimes you gotta squeak a long time, but eventually someone hears ya, and shuts you up by taking care of you. So cross your fingers it all gets straightened out cause Eric is so excited to get started, he asks me every day. He did get to go to the Day Program on Tuesday cause the lady promised him, but he cant go anymore till the paperwork is done. I am sure with the holiday season that does not help either.
So we can just pretend we have a Jeannie in a Bottle and all we have to do is rub it and she will grant our wish(es).
Stamp Set: I Dream of Hanna
Paper: Pink Pirouette, Cameo Coral, Raspberry Tart DSP, Gina K Luxury cardstock
Ink: Memento Tuxedo, Copics
Misc: Cuttlebug Embossing folder, nestabilities, white tafetta, white gel pen, 1 3/4" circle punch (I punched out the greeting and then just wiggle cut with my scissors), I added a couple little rain drops on the bottle too.
Well I am hittin' the hay early…if you call 10pm early….I do anyway…..my belly is saying "why did you eat a whole bag of buttered popcorn?" I only had water to drink and I think I needed a coke to help dissolve all that butter…ha!
Have a great Thursday, think of me in line at the PO! Thanks for stopping in!
Hugs, Di
That is a cute card!! I too wish we had a jeanie in the bottle! Sheesh! My Hubby has worked with Voc Rehab and we finally got a new guy since the last lady was well, not a nice person. Anyway, I feel for you! They all need to have been in these positions for awhile to see what we go through!
Good luck at the PO…I am so thankful I only had one box and we sent it last week! Whew!
Now this is interesting! Nice colours!
Oh my goodness girl, this is fantastic, I was visiting Vicki blog and found your blog, love all your cards.
