OMG! If I hear the Ferrero Rocher commercial one more time…….or should I say if my dogs hear that commercial one more time…..it starts out with a door bell and the dogs go nuts!
Here it is:
Commercial comes on: Ding! Dong! Ferrero Friggin Rocher Chocolates…oh lah!lah!
Toby & Sammi (running to the front door): BARK! BARK! BARK!"
Me (screaming at the top of my lungs): It's on the TV! It's on the TV! No ones at the door!
Toby & Sammi (they look at me like I am nuts….what you aint gonna answer the door, didnt you hear the bell?) BARK! BARK! BARK!
Me: (still screaming) It's a commercial! G%#@! B&*$)# – (turn the tv off)
The chocolates are not even that good…not like they are Lindt Lindor Truffles – the chocolate with the belly button. (who told me that? Vicki? my BFF Tracy??? hmmm…old age sucks!) I actually put them in the fridge and eat them cold….the center tastes so much better.
So I finally did my PCPDT Sketch Challenge card….this was designed by Melanie, who is also the artist for the Gina K Designs Little Tees set, so you know it is a good one.
So here is my card using this sketch, and drat I got to use my nestabilities, and make more of these fun flowers like I used on my Little Tees card.
Stamp Set: Party Cow (Whipper Snapper)
Ink: Jetblack Stazon, Blush Blossom, Pink Pirouette, Kiwi Kiss, Baja Breeze, Not Quite Navy, Basic Gray, Going Gray
Paper: Watercolor Paper, Urban Garden DSP, Whisper White, Not Quite Navy, Kiwi Kiss, Baja Breeze (and it is all textured except the Whisper White card base.) I just ordered a bunch more textured paper…love it!
Misc: Word Window punch, A Perfect Day Rub-ons ( I always have to look those up to see which set it is, I just keep them all in a file folder and rummage through for what I need), Basic Gray Tafetta Ribbon, Nestabilities, Circle Scallop Bigz Die
I sit here and look at it and wish I had of pulled the cows down a bit, but the sketch was not even top and bottom, it is my old anal freaky brain that wants it even. Oh my gosh so I was telling MAMMa (that is my My Arizona Mum Marlene – for you new readers) that when the social worker coordinator guy came over to do Eric's yearly paperwork, he had a plastic expandafile thing and, (sit down before you read this)….he had left the sticker on it, and I had to almost sit on my hands to keep myself from ripping it off, I kept looking at it, and I was like oh my gosh if I try to reach over and remove it, they are gonna remove Eric from our house, cause he has a wacky Mum, but I was like, he never even had attempted to remove it, cause it did not have a corner lifted where he tried and it ripped so he stopped, he just left it on there….ok, I need to go take a pill….ha!
Ok, back to the card, so I have to leave the cows where they are, I will not move them down…if I say it enough times I will accept they are where they are.
This shows the dimension of how they stick out. The post office will love this card getting mailed! Ha!
I cut out just the cows faces a second time and glued them over top, so they stuck out a bit.
Oh and did you notice these little gems? These are actually some of the new fun embellishments I got from Cindy's store…I have more other things to show you, and will show those in the upcoming days or so….if you want to check out what goodies she has go to NC's Scrap N Stamp - tell her I said hi!
They are glittery brads, I got white and black. Cute eh?
Oh and the close-up shows that delicious textured paper.
Ding! Dong! It's Stampin' Up!'s Textured Paper….Bark!Bark! Bark!! ha!!!
But we must all write in to Stampin' Up! that we want to be able to buy it in individual color packs and not only in the multi-color family packages.
Well that is it for me today, have a great Thursday, and thanks for stopping in!
Hugs, Di
I am in luv with your cows! They are perfect! And with you for wanting to peel off stickers!!!!!! LOL!!!
That paper is so neat & I am sooooo diggin the bling! And I must also say; I am not much a fan of that chocolate or that stupid commercial!! Ok, I am done! GOOD NIGHT!!!!!!!!
DI YOU ARE TOOOOO MUCH!!!! I know for a fact that everytime I read your blog you are gonna make me laugh (lol). So, as you may read my comment, yes I read it cuz you make me laugh and because I LOVE you work. I'm hooked to your blog like a drug addict that needs a fix lol 🙂
i think your card is darling – i am laying in bed blog surfing and my husband looks over and says "what are those?" and i said "cows!". he says "oh, those are nostrils!" and i look again and i see what he saw, let's just say he thought they were udders and i thought you would get a kick out of it!
LMAO..My cocker spaniel reacts to door bells on the TV also..any door bell on the TV. Plus if we are talking and the word "Hello" gets into the conversation she will bark…because someone may be coming to lay with her basket of toys..God Forbid!
Other than that she is pretty darn near perfect LOL.
Thanks for the giggles, artwork and fun.
Sue
um…PLAY with her toys…if they wanted to LAY with her toys that would probably be fine with her LOL
