Excellent Color Day!

This 'n' That

21 Nov

How can you tell?

DSCN6352 This is how…

When I color I use my jeans to clean my aqua painter.

So when my thigh (I guess that's my thigh, or is it my lap leg?) is full of color I know I had a fun and busy day!

So what was I coloring?

I was in charge of the Hanna Stamps! Friday Challenge, and well I love to make a scene….on my cards that is…so my challenge was just that "Make a Scene".  Make sure you pop on over to Splitcoast Stampers and go to the Hanna Stamps! Forum, on Friday and check it out.  Upload your scene to your gallery and make sure to use the keyword HSC44.  I wanna see what YOU came up with. If you don't have any Hanna Stamps! you can still play along, but if you do, ink those babies up!

This is what I did…

DSCN6342 copy It's a night at  Riley's house.

It sure ain't my house.

For one thing theres a little girl, and the only little girl I have is a 4 legged one.

It also shows the Mum ironing, now that also does not happen in my house.

The only time I use the iron is when there is a stamping technique involved, or a scorpion to kill…splat!!

DSCN6346 copy Here's little Sophie G practicing her pirouette, she is supossed to be getting ready for bed, but she just wanted to show her Mum and Dad one more time.

DSCN6343 copy Then there is Riley, he got his jammies on when he was told to, cause he is ready for his bedtime story. Does Bella ever turn into a vampire?

Dad sits in his chair with his coffee cup and his muffin.

If it was my house it would be a spit cup…blech!

DSCN6345 copy Mum is busy ironing and a few of the clothes were still a little damp, so she just hung them up on her antlers to help them dry.

Stamp sets: All from Hanna Stamps! Things Riley Would Say, Patio Mini, Bookworm, Coffee Riley, Ballet Sophie G, Laundry Riley and Sleepy Time Riley

Ink: Hybrid Noir Pad, Baja Breeze, So Saffron, More Mustard, Creamy Caramel, Really Rust, Old Olive, Close to Cocoa, Garden Green, Going Gray, Sahara Sand, Basic Gray, Pink Pirouette, Regal Rose, Kiwi Kiss, Riding Hood Red, White Craft and Close to Cocoa Craft Ink to make the faux wood floor

Paper: Prima Romantica Affection (Hanna Stamps!), More Mustard Textured and Standard, Basic Black Textured, Watercolor Paper

Misc: White gel pen

I hope you enjoyed this card as much as I enjoyed making it. When I show the cards up close they don't look near as nice as the full size card.

Have a great Friday, and head on over to Splitcoaststampers and try my Scene Challenge, these are so much fun to make. Just realize you'll be keeping it when you finish! Ha!

Tomorrow I'll show you my sketch for Paper Craft Planet….with one of my new Goodies from Gina K!!

Thanks for stopping in!

Hugs, Di

This is the cutest scene I've ever seen! I LOVE IT! Now….question….if you did iron…would you iron NAKED? Ha! It looks like Mum and Dad well….they like to hang out in the nude! LOVE IT! And I LOVE your comment about the spit cup…..totally been there!! Except #1 rule with KIDS and SPitters…..there must ALWAYS be a lid…..and #1 rule of Wife and Spitters…..A WATER BOTTLE DOES NOT COUNT as spitter with lid…..nasty nasty nasty … when you are running out the door on a hot day….grab what you think is your bottle of water off the TV as you go…..and gulp down a big glob of……blech!

    Bwaaahahahahahahaha!
I know you might not believe this, but that same spot on my denims is often the "proof" of the stampin' work I've seen! I am so tickled to see a denim sistah with the "inkin' brand"!

Hi, my name is Diana Gibbs and I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 1999. I never imagined getting up and talking to people, I am deaf (I wear hearing aids) so talking to strangers has never been a fun thing for me. But put a rubber stamp in my hand and I will talk to anyone.

I hope you can find inspiration and learn new and exciting things while you are here. If there is ever anything you want me to teach you, just let me know!
