Boys Have Cooties!

This 'n' That

20 Nov

Remember that? When you thought boys had cooties, but really ya kinda liked them, you just didn't understand what you were feeling, ya just felt all wiggly inside so it had to be bugs! Or the boys liked a girl and the more he liked her the more he tugged on her pony tail or pushed her down…ahh childhood, sure do miss it don't ya?  NOT!!! Well some of it maybe…

DSCN6341 copy Well that's what is going on here.  The little boy elephant Edward really likes the little girl elephant Elizabeth, but he can't tell her. He does get up the nerve to buy her some chocolates, but as he walks up to her with them, he gets all nervous and pushes her down and steps on her instead.  Of course she likes him too, you can see the hearts swirling around her head.  Isn't it romantic?

This is actually 2 of the new stamp sets from Our Craft Lounge and I just combined them.

Stamp Sets: Dr. Pea-Nut, Lil' Pea-Nut

Paper: Pink Pirouette Textured, Whisper White Textured, Basic Gray, Watercolor Paper

Ink: Palette Hybrid Noir Black, Creamy Caramel, Really Rust, Certainly Celery, Bashful Blue, Going Gray, Basic Gray, Pink Pirouette, Pixie Pink, White craft ink

Misc: Cuttlebug Embossing Folder, Nestabilities Circle and Circle Scallops, Word Window punch

I hope you enjoyed the card, and maybe it took you back a few years when you were a kid and reminded you about the little boy in school, that maybe you even ended up marrying, pushing you down in the mud on the playground…and then since your clothes were all muddy you had to wear clothes out of the lost and found that were way too big for you…oops slap! that's a whole other story…..

Have a great Thursday, and thanks for stopping in!

Hugs, Di

Hi, my name is Diana Gibbs and I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 1999. I never imagined getting up and talking to people, I am deaf (I wear hearing aids) so talking to strangers has never been a fun thing for me. But put a rubber stamp in my hand and I will talk to anyone.

I hope you can find inspiration and learn new and exciting things while you are here. If there is ever anything you want me to teach you, just let me know!
