That's me…an old dog…it's like once I learn a new trick, or a new sketch I do it over and over, and it's hard to teach me a new one…ok, that does not make any sense what so ever, but basically when I find a new sketch I like, I am going to repeat it, so this is the same sketch I did a few days ago with the adorable Pea-nut sets from Our Craft Lounge.
I got me a few new little goodies from PaperWorks Co. and I decided to play with Gordie the Giraffe. I loved him and well I have a cousin named Gordie and I love him too. In fact when Gordie was born I also got one of my first dolls, so I called my new baby Gordie too, well not Gordie Two, I mean Gordie also. Anyway, I still have that doll and the poor thing is still called Gordie. But isnt this little guy adorable? He also has a friend called Harriet the Hippo and Lucas the Lion. He is perfect for a baby card, so that is what I did. Using one of the Stampin' Up! Chit Chat rub-ons.
Stamp Set: Gordie the Giraffe
Ink: Jetblack Stazon, More Mustard, So Saffron, Baja Breeze, Kiwi Kiss
Paper: Kiwi Kiss Textured (I got me a bunch of textured paper recently and let me tell you, I love it!) Whisper White Textured, More Mustard, Watercolor paper, Green Tea DSP, Bella Rose DSP
Misc: Paper Piercer, White gel pen, Build a brads, 1/2" circle punch, nestabilities circles, cuttlebug folder
I also was a winner today, well actually I guess I was a winner on Sunday, I just forgot to go over to Our Craft Lounge and see the winning tickets numbers and guess what?
One of them was mine! Now I can't say I never win anything. Jeff came home from getting his bow fixed and I was like "I won, I won!" and he was like "what did you win?" and I said "I don't know…but I won!" So I'll let you know what I get! I must have held my ticket up to the computer 10 times and looked at it over and over, cause I did not want to say it was my ticket and be wrong.
Typepad keeps changing too, I know they are upgrading, but this goes back to the old dog, I get used to doing things a certain way and then things change and I am like "what the heck?" so some of the things that I could do before, I have no idea where they went, so it is a little aggravating. I will figure it out eventually, just in time for them to change it again.
So I hope you are all ready for some fun times over on my Stampin' Up! website today (Wednesday) there are a bunch of sales going on, and I am as excited as you are, cause we were told nothing…that way we don't spill the beans! So make sure you check it out. The sales run from the 26th – December 1. Here is the flyer Download Bundles_US
Well I got all my Stampin' Up! 3-D displays done today so now all I have left to do is the scrapbook pages. I always do the cards first, 3-D second and the pages last cause well those are harder for me to do. I love to scrapbook, but I never have pictures. So I always use my friend and fellow Demonstrator Karen Meinerz adorable kids (hey girls), so when I show you all this stuff I have been working on in February, you will get to see just how adorable they are.
Well I hope you have a great Wednesday, get that last minute grocery store errand run, you don't want to be doing it tomorrow!
Thanks for stopping in!
Hugs, Di
