A Different Kind of Best Friend

This 'n' That

12 Nov

I got this stamp a couple weeks ago and finally put it to some ink and sat and colored it.  Just like I told Cindy about Flourishes stamps and she is knocking those babies right out of the ball park, you need to go check out her blog. She told me about Whipper Snapper and boy they have some cute stamps. We enable each other, we be sad! Ha!

Whipper snapper full Look at these two best friends, aren't they precious?

What is neat is the block has a colored sticker on it, so you can kinda follow along in a way. You know how sometimes you will stamp something and wonder what a certain part is, well this helps, plus the stamp looks adorable just sitting on the shelf. I have a fun cow one too, I will do in December, cause I got enough work to do to keep me busy.

Stamp Set: A Snowman's Best Friend

Paper: Chocolate Chip, Real Red, Old Olive, Watercolor Paper, Ski Slope DSP

Ink: Stazon Jet black, Baja Breeze, More Mustard, Creamy Caramel, Close to Cocoa, Chocolate Chip, Old Olive, Pink Pirouette, Summer Sun, Real Red, Really Rust, Basic Gray (so funny – you watercolor with basic gray it is pretty black, you watercolor with basic black and it is a dark purple…things that make you go hmmmm???)

Misc: Gold bells, word window punch, snowflake embossing folder, chit chat rub-ons (which are on sale this month!!)

Whipper snapper close-up Here ya can see the bells a little better.

Cute huh?

Hope you have a great Wednesday.

Thanks for stopping in!

Hugs, Di

I thought I recognized the artist for your darling little stamp…it's Shelly Comiskey. I purchase her graphics for making my cards & goodies from PC Crafter. Doesn't she have some of the most ADORABLE little snowmen you've ever seen?!?
I'm a Whipper Snapper fan now, too (honestly had NO IDEA that Shelly sold her desings for stamps!). Thanks Di!

Hi, my name is Diana Gibbs and I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 1999. I never imagined getting up and talking to people, I am deaf (I wear hearing aids) so talking to strangers has never been a fun thing for me. But put a rubber stamp in my hand and I will talk to anyone.

I hope you can find inspiration and learn new and exciting things while you are here. If there is ever anything you want me to teach you, just let me know!
