Could You Be A Vampire?

This 'n' That

11 Oct
You Could Be a Vampire… If You Had To
Like most people, the thought of being a vampire has crossed your mind. But you're not sure if you'd do it, even if you could.
Living forever doesn't sound half bad, if you could live forever with the people you love the most.
But do vampires even love? And would the vampire version of you even be you?
It's all too much to contemplate. Luckily, the chances of you ever becoming a vampire are astronomically low.

What you would like best about being a vampire: Living forever

What you would like least about being a vampire: Blood stained teeth

Could You Be a Vampire?

This is a fun little website to play around on, if you are wasting time…ya know you need to blow dry your hair, but you want it to air dry a bit first…then you realize you were on the computer for too long and now your hair is too dry, so you have to go re-wet it and start all over…that kinda wasting time…we all do it….right?

I thought this one was perfect for me….ya know the whole vampire thing!!!!
Ha! Boo!

HSC38 Challenge So in my new Hanna Stamps order I got the other day was this little cutie, I could not resist…you know my whole vampire fetish.

Stamp set: Vampire Riley - but I like to call him "Edward" Hee!Hee!

Paper: Basic Gray, Whisper White, Ghostly Greetings Designer Series Paper, Basic Black, Almost Amethyst, Watercolor Paper

Ink: Hybrid Noir Pad, Creamy Caramel, Close to Cocoa, More Mustard, Almost Amethyst, Basic Gray, Blush Blossom – I just used the SU! ink pads, I am loving the copics, but you need to use them with regular paper, plus I only have 11 markers and a colorless blender so I did not have the right colors for my little vampire.  I love using the watercolor paper.

Misc: Window Word punch, black brads, white gel pen

Isn't he cute?

Toby 1 Bull 0 Oh and speaking of cute, look at Toby…Mr. Photogenic today.

This one is called Toby – 1, Bull – 0 (and yes Jennie, it is a Tex Earnhardt bull…good eye girl!)

I looked over and there he was standing on top of the bull, of course by the time I get the camera turned on, and changed to the right setting he has sat down….the goof ball.

Please Mummy! This one is called "Please Mummy can I have a treat? I beg of you, I haven't eaten anything in like 5 minutes, and you can't really count the toilet paper roll as eating, nor the paper I got out of the garbage pail…look how cute I am!"

OMG! I  love this little dog, can ya tell?

But enough of Toby…

…and speaking of enough…who else is tired of getting the voter poll calls and the drive me nuts Toll Free calls!!!???? That is one thing that I hate about being home during the day is all these phone calls. Not that they just happen during the day, even at night too! In fact we have these phones that have like talking caller ID, so you dont have to go near the phone it will say who it is…OMG! you should hear how they pronounce some words.

So anyway, Eric has one in his room, and Jeff and I were getting supper ready last night and the phone rang, and of course it says out loud "Call from Toll Free" now it would not be bad if it said it once, nope it says it over and over.  So Eric is in his room watching a movie, and I know his phone is saying it too and then Jeff starts laughing and I am like,

Diana: what

Jeff: didn't you hear Eric?

Diana: nope

Jeff: Eric just yelled Kiss My A** Toll Free, Kiss My A**

Now before you say, well that is horrible that he said that, well Eric will be 20 this month, and he has learning disabilities, and one of those is Apraxia, so he has a speech impairment, and it is like the harder he tries to talk the harder it is, but when he just blurts things out sometimes it is perfect.  So it was just funny, that he said this…..and we had to laugh.  I mean he was in the bedroom and did not see us laughing.

So as for the dang phone calls,  we have even contemplated getting rid of the house phone and just using our cell phones, I mean heck we all have one. But with my family in Canada we just have kept the house phone.  I needed it before to run credit cards, but now that Stampin' Up! takes credit cards for orders, I got rid of my credit card machine (yeehaw!) so then I don't need the phone line, although I do have to fax once in a while….decisions, decisions!

Well anyhoo, have a very nice Saturday, and thanks for stopping in!

Hugs, Di

Your dog looks like our yorkie then i got to reading about all your phone calls. Funny stuff. I cancelled our phone a few months ago because I work nights and all day long the phone would ring with telemarketers it got very annoying. I don't miss the house phone one bit and would cancel it all over again.

LOL You always make me laugh!! I hate the telemarketers too. I work at home and the phone will ring and there's some annoying guy asking me a pile of questions about my cell phone…so yesterday I kept asking him why he wanted to know, and he'd just ask me another question…so I started asking him about his cell phone…it was too funny!!! He got round to telling me that my phone no was *eligible for a "free" cell phone*, so I hung up on him and laughed for about 10 mins….yes I am easily amused 🙂 I'm off now to find out if I could be a vamp….

your blog always makes me laugh, never quite as hard as I laughed when I read your entry with the reindeer card…..but everytime I laugh and I loved your ERIC story. 🙂 Our call thingey says, "Call from not pro vided" in that weird voice – you know the one, and Keith and I joke that not pro vided is my boyfriend and he forgets and calls even when Keith is home. OH well, guess you had to be here…..anyway – I wanted to tell you I love your blog. 🙂 And go see mine, Beth S. finally installed my blog banner, I hired her thru vacations, surgery, etc so it took a long time but it was surely worth waiting for. She designed yours, right? Anyway, it's at http://www.karenbarberstamps.blogspot.com. I also want to link your blog to mine if that's okay but I need to figure out how or wait till someone is here who can do it for me, pathetic, huh????? Love ya!!

LOL You always make me laugh and bring a smile to my face. If you like vampire stories and want to laugh try MaryJanice Davidson and her Undead series. They are a hoot. I love reading about all of the fun things and you make it a great read. Thanks so much! I am glad YOU POST EVERY DAY!

Hi, my name is Diana Gibbs and I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 1999. I never imagined getting up and talking to people, I am deaf (I wear hearing aids) so talking to strangers has never been a fun thing for me. But put a rubber stamp in my hand and I will talk to anyone.

I hope you can find inspiration and learn new and exciting things while you are here. If there is ever anything you want me to teach you, just let me know!
