Sock Monkey says Trick or Treat…

This 'n' That

20 Oct

…smell my feet…well if he was made with dirty socks, ya might want to pass on that one…ha!

Anyway, here is my cased card from Jan Tinklenberg, all I did different was add the stitching on the side but that is it, otherwise totally totally copied. Thanks for being an inspiration Jan, in the card making and the chocolate eating. I am gonna have to buy me a mumu for the Stampin’ Up! Hawaii cruise….

Sock monkey class 002 copy Stamp Set: Sock Monkey, Sock Monkey Accessories, All Holidays

Paper: Pumpkin Pie, Basic Gray, Watercolor Paper, Kiwi Kiss, Ghostly Greetings Designer Series Paper (I swear I have to go look that up every time, cause I want to say Ghastly for some reason!)

Ink: Jetblack Stazon, Kiwi Kiss, Pumpkin Pie, Going Gray, Bordering Blue

Misc: Black Brads, Black Journaler, Black gingham ribbon, word window punch, paper piercer

You’d give this cutie some candy if he showed up at your door right?

So do you watch Ellen? It is hilarious, the other week she had these women on there playing some game called “Snap!” and they were tied to each other I think they had straightjackets on or something and they have to pick up an apple in their mouth and put it in a bowl but of course the apples are spaced way far apart so they both can’t reach their apple at the same time, theycan’t use their hands or anything, oh my gosh, I wonder if they have to sign some sort of medical release against injuries, this one woman was falling all over the floor and the bungee cord…yeah I forgot to mention that, they are fastened together with some sort of cord, so the one woman that was winning was pulling this other woman around on the floor and she was hitting her head, and I was laughing so hard, but my gosh she coulda been hurt.

Then she had Dennis Quaid on the show and she put an earpiece in his ear and he had to go into a Starbucks and say whatever she told him to say, he goes waltzing in and she says “Dennis Quaid is here” so of course he has to say it, you really need to see if that is online somewhere cause I don’t know how he was doing it and keeping a straight face….and the whole gargle and spit it back in the cup…I mean he must be an actor or something….ha!  Thanks to Zarna here is the U-tube thing

OK, enough of my blah!blah!blahing!

Have a marvelous Monday, and thanks for stopping in!

Hugs, Di

Oh my GOSH – this might be my favorite sock monkey EVER!!!! He's so cute in these colors!!

And I didn't see that Ellen, but she gives me the giggles so bad! I listened to her book on tape, and if you haven't got it on your Ipod, you need to – it is hysterical!!

Oh my gosh – I love Ellen – and Dennis Quaid was hilarious – when he walked into Starbucks and hollered "Dennis Quaid is here" I just about peed my pants. It was hilarious.
I have always like him – kinda bummed about the whole Meg Ryan thing but he seems happy with his new wife and kidlets – scary about their overdose when they were born though – yikes!

Fabulous card, Diana. I love what you've done with the Sock Monkey!

I was just at a Stampin' Up regional in Edmonton and one of the presenters showed your bag box and gave you credit! How cool is that?!

Ellen was advertising the Snap game for sale, but I don't know if she was serious or not. I just about laughed till I wet myself!

Has she caught George Clooney yet? What is wrong with that man? He needs to come and play along.

I love Ellen. She is definitely my fave. I need to start Tivo ing her show, because I miss her alot and it makes me sad.

OK…I don't like Sock Monkey…something about him…but I do LOVE this card and even his little face.

I don't know why I keep coming back here…your humor or your art…both I guess LOL.
Thanks for the nice monkey…and the giggles.

That clip with Dennis Quaid was so funny! My DS came out to the livingroom after heading to bed to see what all the noise was about (me laughing hysterically) and to tell me he was trying to get to sleep!

OMG, Diana! I nearly pee'd my pants when I watched that Dennis Quaid video! I don't think I've laughed that hard in a loooooong time! At least I didn't burst a blood vessel in my eye this time! LOL Thanks for the laugh…it felt GREAT!

Hi, my name is Diana Gibbs and I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 1999. I never imagined getting up and talking to people, I am deaf (I wear hearing aids) so talking to strangers has never been a fun thing for me. But put a rubber stamp in my hand and I will talk to anyone.

I hope you can find inspiration and learn new and exciting things while you are here. If there is ever anything you want me to teach you, just let me know!
