...well I'm off to the PO tomorrow to mail off the calendars that I have received payment for.  If you said you wanted a calendar and have changed your mind and now you don't, let me know right away by emailing me at - thanks!!! I have a couple people that are wanting to take your spot.

Boxes of calendars 005 Now carrying these babies into the PO is gonna be fun, and I can just see their smiling faces when I walk in with these...ha!

Have a great Monday and thanks for stopping in!

All Together Now

That is what I feel like, and I am happy.  I love to have things organized, and in its spot, not that my stamp room doesn't turn into a total mess most of the time.  But even organized chaos is still organized.

So when one of my Demonstrators, Julia (hey girl) told me about this cool marker organizer she saw on Sharon Harnist blog Paperfections - I googled it and got it at Overstock for $20.00! Marker holder Isn't it cool? It holds my Stampin' Up! markers, my blender pens that until now I did not realize I had so many, and it also hold my Copics. The little drawer holds fun embellishments.

It is really made to hold these little metal containers that hold dies.

The little doll on the top is from my sister Jacqui who is having Jactopia at her house this weekend, and I am missing it cause...well it's in Canada, but I am there in spirit.

She was gonna send me some pics to put on my blog, but they are having so much fun I gave up waiting.

The little white dish had a candle in it and then I washed it out and added a rub-on on it.

I hope you have a great Sunday, we are taking Eric out for dinner, movie and shopping since we were busy this week and did not get it done for his actual birthday!

Thanks for stopping in!

Hugs, Di

Time Flies...

...when you are having fun! Some day I will remember to take a picture of my pants after a fun day of stamping and coloring....they are in the wash and I forgot. Those of you that have seen me in coloring action, know exactly what I am talking about...ok now that I re-read this...I better explain cause the people that have not seen me in coloring action, might be thinking I am crapping my pants cause I am having so much fun or something...but actually I clean my aqua painter on my pants on my thigh area, so my jeans always have these stripes on them. OMG! when I used to use the blender pen all the time, I used to clean it on my hand, and all those colors eventually looked like a big old bruise...not so good when you go meet your sons teacher.  I don't know what was worse my big old bruisy looking hand, or the vision of me licking my hand and rubbing it on my pants, as I tried to wash it off....ha!

Make sure you buzzzzz.....on over to Molly Stamps  and check out the new sets that just became available.

Molly freaked out fly 003 copy I love this new Wings set, cause the possiblities are endless, and matching it up with Today's Forecast is hilarious.  I am thinking this might be like a fly that is a hockey player or something, or maybe one of the brides or grooms off of Redneck Wedding.

Have a great Saturday, and thanks so much for stopping in!

Piggyback a Tute!

What the heck does that mean? It means I am going to piggyback on someone else's tutorial. For one reason, which is a silly reason, I am growing out my fingernails. I have been getting my nails done for years and I am not getting them done anymore, so anyone that has had artificial nails knows how horrible your nails look while this is happening, so I am ashamed to let you see them, so I may just do this a couple times, until I don't look like I have a disease.  The second reason is I am also a calendar cuttin' fiend, so that is taking a lot of my time.  So I am sure you won't mind seeing the tute somewhere else and then seeing what I did with it.

Now that I am in the world of Copics, (I still really need to learn how to use them, I am still such an aqua painter, watercolor paper, ink pad kinda girl) I thought this was a cool technique by Hanna Stamps' very own Kristi Ferro. She shows how you can color the dew drops to be any color you want.

It is under What is the Latest Craze - I couldn't figure out how to make it stay on the right entry, so I hope you can find it.

Here is the card I did with the colored dew drops, these started out a yellow color and now they are eh? Hanna snow 011 copy I did this card for the Hanna Stamps Friday Challenge over at Splitcoaststampers, HSDT member Cindy picked Snowflakes.

Stamp Set: Ski Bunny

Paper: Whisper White, Ski Slope Designer Series paper, Chocolate Chip, Baja Breeze, Watercolor paper

Ink: Palette Noir Pad, Blush Blossom, Pink Pirouette, Close to Cocoa, Chocolate Chip, More Mustard, Baja Breeze, Pacific Point, Real Red, Old Olive, Basic Gray, Old Olive

Misc: Felt Flurries, Dew Drops, Paper Piercer, Black marker, white gel pen

So while I was watching tv lately, I have seen a couple IKEA commercials with an old black lady talking to the person opening the cupboards and stuff like that, but she is a ghost or something cause she is not really there, who is she? Cause this commercial is going right over my head, and I don't think this is what the advertisers want.

I also finished the Edgar Sawtelle book, has anyone else read it?  What was your opinion? I read at night in bed, and I finished and my stomach and head hurt so bad, cause I wanted to cry OUT LOUD, not keep it in, if I was alone and Jeff was not sleeping and having to get up for work in 2 hours I would have been sobbing out loud.  It was so sad, and I was mad at the ending, and disturbed and so many mixed emotions. So I just wondered what anyone else that read it thought. I am now reading some fun vampire books by MaryJane Davidson that (oh my gosh I can't remember who told me to read them....please email me or comment so I can thank you) it is nice to read something fun...and light!!! OMG! I have read 50 pound books for the last 6 that I have read and my chest is thanking me!! Ha!

So I am getting more and more used to blog stuff, the little things you can do with it, and I have added some photo albums off to the side, so if you are looking for Stampin' Up!, Hanna or Molly or whatever you can go over there to see the card, now please understand I have tons on my blog that are not there, and I don't know if I will ever get them all over there, but from now on I am going to add them as I go.  I hope you like this little addition.

Calendar prep I am waiting for the PO to deliver my priority boxes so I can get the calendar kits in the mail.  My PO won't give me the boxes (I wanted too many, so I had to order them on-line) they should be here any day.

Here are your packets waiting to be sent to their new homes!

Have a super Friday, and thanks for stopping in!
