Good or Bad Belly Day

This 'n' That

3 Oct

Well today was a good bad good day for my belly.  First of all I met my girlfriends Rhonda and Melissa (hey chicks) for lunch at Wildflower…heck we even ran into Elizabeth (Hi-ya!)there too.  All these SU! Demonstrators in one place…if only everyone there knew the awesome company they were in…ha! Just kidding!

Then tonight Jeff and I met my school chum Amir (I better say hi to the O.B.C. since he said he was gonna start reading my blog) for supper at Cantina Laredo, so my belly got its share of yum-o food today.  Amir and I have known each other since Grade 5 I think…that's a long long long time!

I also went and picked up my trifocals after they were "in the shop" being adjusted. Cross your fingers I can get used to them, I really hate to have to have lines put in them.

Under the stars christmas 002 copy I also have been working on another card for a swap I am in. I actually got the layout from a swap card that Melissa did. I just changed the stamp set, and added the cuttlebug folder. I love how she added the wide ribbon under the DSP.

Stamp Set: Under the Stars, Crab & Co., Sock Monkey Accessories

Paper: Sahara Sand, Baja Breeze, Ski-Slope Designer Series Paper, Watercolor Paper, Real Red, Chocolate Chip

Ink: Jetblack Stazon, Real Red, Baja Breeze, Close to Cocoa, Creamy Caramel, Old Olive

Misc: Baja Breeze Double Stitched Wide Grosgrain, Red Grosgrain, Old Olive Brads, white gel pen, Chit Chat rub-ons, swiss dot cuttlebug folder

Under the stars christmas 003 copy And of course just like the other Under the Stars card I did, there was lots of cuttin' and poppin' goin' on! Boy that almost sounds like what my old body would sound like at a work out at the gym that I need to be doing after all that food I ate today.

Have a great Friday, and thanks for stopping in!

Hugs, Di

What a cute card and way to go for thinking outside of the box…I love it when people think of other ways to create with a stamp…like who would have thought to have that bear stamp be stamped as he is holding tons of presents!!!! GENIUS!!!!

Diana, I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the Christmas Bear!!! We're campers and a trip is never complete unless we see a bear so I am SUCH a sucker for any bear stamp sets! I LOVE what you did with it!! And BTW, I also LOVE the daily posts! There are a few blogs that I simply HAVE to visit each day to see what's happening, get a chuckle, and loads of inspiration! Thanks so much for sharing!!

Hi, my name is Diana Gibbs and I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 1999. I never imagined getting up and talking to people, I am deaf (I wear hearing aids) so talking to strangers has never been a fun thing for me. But put a rubber stamp in my hand and I will talk to anyone.

I hope you can find inspiration and learn new and exciting things while you are here. If there is ever anything you want me to teach you, just let me know!
