So today, I turned off the A/C and opened the windows in the house. We call it "blowin' the stink out" and it sure feels good having some fresh air coming in. Here in Arizona, out in the desert with lots of dust, the windows don't get opened very often. It's either too hot, or there is a breeze, and the desert sand is blowing in the window. Don't even get me started on how I have to dust off my shoes that sit on the closet floor before I wear them…yeah! Arizona..blech, if you hate to houseclean, and you are addicted to black shoes.
We have a little hummer that likes to sit on the chain holding the food. We have tons of them, not as many as a month ago I think they were just filling up to head out somewhere else. But this little guy sits and sits and this is as good a picture I could take from the kitchen window. We have a stupid woodpecker who is always eating the hummer food, so he might be protecting his food.
So I played around with some new toys today…Nestabilities, and a fun set by Gina K. Designs. It was a good Sunday. One spent in my…gulp…I admit it…my pajamas. I mean I was not going anywhere, no one was coming over, so that's ok right? My hubby said it was ok. I mean it ain't like I wear baby dolls or anything like that, just an old t-shirt and sweats, and I have shopped at Walmart, and have seen people shopping in what could be the pajamas I had on today, so I think I was ok.
This layout was actually a sketch at SCS a month or so ago, but I did not have my Nestibilites then, so it was much easier this time.

This little old lady looks like she takes no prisoners so I gave her shades.
I think she hears about a sale so she is headed to town on a mission.
She is already looking for a good parking space right up next to the store, that's why her head is sticking outside the car, either that or she is part dog, and she can't help it.
Have a great Monday, school's back in session…yeehaw!!!
Thanks for stopping in!
Hugs, Di
Your card is beautiful. A day in pajamas is so fun. I look forward to days when I can lounge around in my pajamas.
What a great card! love the image 🙂 aloha! Teri
Oh I love this little old lady!! She's adorable. I noticed you are reading The Host, I've been considering it…will you let me know how you like it? Also, I started a Twilight Tuesday Inspiration Challenge and I'd love it if you come take a peek! http://www.stamphappens.com
Oh I think I have to have those Nestabilites!! I'm loving our "Big Shot"and all we can use with it!!
I had to laugh reading your comment about "Getting the Stink Out" cause Steve uses that phrase (I know you're NOT surprised)Not that we have an issue of opening up windows in PA, but sometimes "I" don't get out of the house, and he'll say to me if he wishes I'd be outdoors with him "Come on out and get the Stink off!!"
Love Ya
Da BFF
