Box in a Bag – Revisited

This 'n' That

4 Oct

So this little bag has been all over the internet, it makes an old girl proud ya'll liked it so much. Heck, it even won a contest at Stampin' Up!, unfortunately for me someone else sent it in…ha!  I played around with some new paper, and made a couple new ones. I also made a shabby chic feminine one but I submitted that to a magazine, so I don't want to put that on here….just in case.

Spooky Box in a Bag 002 copy

But these two turned out so cute, and with Halloween just around the corner, you have time to make a couple.  This bag is the regular size that I did on the original Box in a Bag Tutorial although now with our handy dandy scallop punch I used it instead of the slit punch.

Spooky Box in a Bag 003 copy

But for this taller bag I just increased the Designer Paper to 9" tall instead.

But the rest is the same as the tutorial.

I am so loving the Ghostly Greetings Designer Series Paper.

So I have the TV on in the background and the show "Wife Swap" is on, and I am thinking…where do they find these freaks? I thought I was a freak, there is a lady on there that all she does is scream…OMG!

I am posting Saturdays post a little early tonight (I do my posts at night for the next day) so I can get some work done.  Oh speaking of posts, I had someone un-subscribe today, their reason was cause I have too many updates…I thought hmmmm….posting once a day is too many updates? If anyone else feels that way, let me know….I can totally only post once a week, if you're sick of listening to me!

Also if you want to be added to my email list, for monthly samples etc. Please send me your email address so I can add you. I hate to assume since you sign up for my blog that you want a newsletter too, so I have not added you to my email list. (unless you asked me already).

Thanks for stopping in!

Hugs, Di

    Once a day isn't enough!!!
Ok, maybe the 1000+ unread threads in my google reader acct are saying otherwise… so maybe once a day is good enough…

If you only posted once a week, I would literally convulse then sit in a fetal position rocking back and forth from withdrawal.
Ok…not seriously, but you get the point! 🙂

Are you kidding me?? "I'll only post once a week" No you will not!! I love that you post every day. I want to try and post every day on my blog. All of your posts are awesome. Your tutorials are great and it's gives me my Diana fix for the day!
I'm sure the girl who unsubscribed is just too busy in her life right now and that was a personal decision for herself…certainly not one that must be inflicted upon every one else! And by the comments above – if you stop posting every day – there are many people who will be come physically ill!!!!
Love ya sis – Keep on keepin' on!
( I borrowed that from Gladys – ya know the one the Ellen calls every once in a while!)

Diana, in my mind you will always be the original creator of the famous Bag In A Box — because that's where I discovered it for the very first time! It's no wonder it's so popular – it's attractive and easy! Love the tall version too!

Hi, my name is Diana Gibbs and I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 1999. I never imagined getting up and talking to people, I am deaf (I wear hearing aids) so talking to strangers has never been a fun thing for me. But put a rubber stamp in my hand and I will talk to anyone.

I hope you can find inspiration and learn new and exciting things while you are here. If there is ever anything you want me to teach you, just let me know!
