Blue Jay Bonus Card

This 'n' That

1 Oct

When I saw this beautiful Christmas Cardinal set in the new Holiday Mini catalog (that you can start to order out of today! Yeah!)  I ordered it right away (as Demonstrators we get to order out of the minis early, a little perk we have.  But then I saw my girlfriend Cindy think outside the box, or would that be nest, with this set. She made it a Blue Jay! OMG! Brilliant!!!

So here is my take on it.

Stamp Set: A Christmas Cardinal

Paper: Bella Rose Designer Series Paper, Whisper White, Kiwi Kiss

Ink: Jetblack Stazon, Almost Amethyst, Bashful Blue, Ballet Blue, More Mustard, Riding Hood Red, Kiwi Kiss, Old Olive, Going Gray

Misc: White gel pen, silver brads

Here ya can see the bird a little closer up.

I just left some areas lighter and used the white gel pen to add the white marks.

This is the card I did for my bonus card for my swap for the girls that got their cards in by the early due date.

I also have some fun exciting news to tell ya, but I have to wait till I get the go ahead.

Have a great Wednesday, and thanks for stopping in!

Hugs, Di

Hi, my name is Diana Gibbs and I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 1999. I never imagined getting up and talking to people, I am deaf (I wear hearing aids) so talking to strangers has never been a fun thing for me. But put a rubber stamp in my hand and I will talk to anyone.

I hope you can find inspiration and learn new and exciting things while you are here. If there is ever anything you want me to teach you, just let me know!
