Stuffed…

This 'n' That

20 Sep

I am stuffed (from supper) and I am stuffing (envelopes for class).

Ya wanna see what 500 cards with envelopes look like? Well almost I have 60 more to stuff.Im stuffed 005 copy This takes longer then just putting out the pieces, but I fear that if someone messes up they would just grab another piece and my numbers would be off, or things tend to get ink on them. So stuffing is what I do.

So last night, as I was finishing up cutting, I cooked some chicken for supper. The guys had a football game so I thought well at least the chicken would be done for tonight, you just cook and shred it ahead of time.

So I made the meal tonight, I had never tried it before, I got it out of a little recipe book from Gooseberry Patch, they have the best recipes, this one comes from the Quick & Easy recipes book, these make great stocking stuffers (gosh there is that word again!)

Im stuffed  I added this picture later, here they are in all their glory!!! Oprah and Ty were even checking out how beautiful they are – HA!

Im stuffed 002 copySo anyway here it is, doesn't it look good, and let me tell ya, it was, and it made lots.  So I told my girlfriend Cindy when we were gabbing yesterday that I would tell her if it was good, and sister…make your grocery list, and put down those smores!! Here ya go:

2 10-3/4 oz. cans cream of chicken soup

1 10-3/4 oz. can cream of mushroom soup

8-oz Velveeta cheese (you know the boxed kind)

2 lbs. chicken breasts, cooked and shredded (I personally cooked up a 3lb bag of the frozen chicken breasts- my hubby likes lots of meat)

2 14-1/2 oz. cans diced tomatoes

4-oz. can sliced mushrooms, drained

16-oz. pkg. spaghetti, cooked.

Combine soups and Velveeta cheese in a saucepan.  Heat over medium heat until cheese is melted. Gently stir in remaining ingredients and heat through.

It makes approx. 8 servings.

Let me know what you think.

Have a super Saturday, and thanks for stopping in.

Hugs, Di

Wow! Look at all those envelopes and cards!!! That must keep you super busy!!!

I make a very similar Chicken dish as well.Actually I made it last night! My oldest son (16 yo) is going through some tough times and he was sad yesterday and wanted some comfort food. So I made it for him. He loved it.He said "Thank-you, mom, for supper" and I think the meal cheered him up a little.

Hi, my name is Diana Gibbs and I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 1999. I never imagined getting up and talking to people, I am deaf (I wear hearing aids) so talking to strangers has never been a fun thing for me. But put a rubber stamp in my hand and I will talk to anyone.

I hope you can find inspiration and learn new and exciting things while you are here. If there is ever anything you want me to teach you, just let me know!
