Just a Hint of What is Inside…

This 'n' That

10 Sep

…I just had a fun idea….

This stamp set Today's Forecast is so much fun for making spinner cards or just a Mood card so if you are in a bad mood, and you don't feel like talking you don't have to.Moodometer 002 copy Or you are so tongue tied you can't wrap the words around what you are saying!

What if we stamped on the outside of the envelope of our bills as we mail them out, the mean face or perhaps the sick face, cause bills suck.  But we can use the happy faces for other things, like sending letters to a friend.   What about putting a little smiley face stamped on your child's lunch sack…do they carry lunch sacks anymore?  Do we even say lunch sack?

Like just cut up some cardstock, I don't know 3×3 or something and stamp the faces and the saying under it, and then tuck them in your purse, your wallet, or pocket.

You go to eat out the waiter/ress is the best ever leave her a little card with the happy face with your tip.  If the waiter/ress is horrible, cause I know they don't get paid much but sometimes the service is not good, you could leave the sick face with your tip.  This could be for anything, you know you go to a store, the post office any public place and the person does not crack one smile the whole time and it makes you think they really don't like their job. Now those of you out there in the food/public service business, don't yell at me it's just an idea, and I am not always smiling myself.

Hey how about that person that parks so close to your vehicle you have to climb in the passenger side to get to the driver seat, you could nicely put one of these under their windshield wiper and say "Leave a Can-Opener Next Time – Have a Nice Day" that could be the angry face, the smily face or the big closed eye grin, cause the person would totally know what you were talking about, and I would use the big closed eye grin, cause you just made a funny!!! Now, that is different than making a stinky cause that would be the green face with the tongue hanging out.  I should keep some of those on hand for Eric!  I just love these little faces, and just think outside the box with them.

Plus for a limited time you get the spinners for free when you order the set so just incase anyone was not sure the mood you are in…wait what did you say honey?…. you say these pants make my butt look big, but it's more to love!!!! – then you can point the finger spinner in the right direction.

Oh so I see Entertainment Tonight and Dr. Phil are all going HD!  Well patooie, I'll one up them, I am going TF! Yep that's right my friends, Diana Gibbs is getting Tri-focals. For Pete's sake, what kinda glasses will I have when I am 60? Octi-focals. Won't those be attractive. Well maybe then my hubby won't notice how big my butt is by then.  He won't be able to see my butt cause of the glasses.

Thanks for stopping in!

Hugs, Di

Okay, I'm dying here, reading your blog at work rather than doing the write up I need to and I CAN'T LAUGH OUT LOUD because everyone will know it's not work related!!!! You are one of the funniest people ever and so smart too. What a fab idea to hand out little cards with differing faces and nice or snarky notes, depending on the mood. You made my day! Thanks, Di!!!

Or how about that lady in the huge SUV who was in the middle of the small street I was trying to turn into. I was happily talking to my friend in my earpiece, but the driver was a bit miffed….and SHE was the one taking up the whole road! AND her teenage daughter made faces at me at least twice.

I just laughed and drove in after I let them out.

No time for road rage here. Life is too short. Those two have enough for TWO generations!

Hi, my name is Diana Gibbs and I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 1999. I never imagined getting up and talking to people, I am deaf (I wear hearing aids) so talking to strangers has never been a fun thing for me. But put a rubber stamp in my hand and I will talk to anyone.

I hope you can find inspiration and learn new and exciting things while you are here. If there is ever anything you want me to teach you, just let me know!
