Froggie at the Gate

This 'n' That

18 Sep

I finally gave in and bought the Scor-Pal .  I was hoping that Stampin' Up! would have it in the catalog, but nope.  So now you KNOW it will probably be in the next one.  It never fails, that is what happened when I finally bought the Crop-a-dile. But that's ok, it'll probably come in Stampin' Up! black and I will get it anyway.

So the first thing I did with my Scor-Pal was make a gate-fold card, cause I am not a mathematician and I never could figure out where the scores went, but with the Scor-Pal it is easy as pie, cause it tells you where to score.

I love this stamp set and the little frog is so sweet, look at him looking up at the flowers, I think there is a tiny bug that we can't see and he is just waiting to flick out his tongue and eat it.

Gatefold Card 001 copyStamp: A Flower for all Seasons, Absolutely Fabulous

Paper: Kiwi Kiss, Pacific Point, Watercolor Paper, Muirfield Designer Series Paper

Ink: Jetblack Stazon, Kiwi Kiss, Baja Breeze, Really Rust, Apricot Appeal, More Mustard, Creamy Caramel

Misc: Aqua Painter, White gel pen, Basket & Blossom Die (for Pacific Point Notched Circle), and Pennant Die (for Kiwi Kiss flower) Vanilla/Kiwi Kiss Satin Ribbon, Word Window punch, 1 3/4 circle punch

Gatefold Card 002 copy I love to color watering cans, or buckets, I like to add a bit of rust on them.

So I had the tv on the other day and there is a commercial and it is either IKEA or a Couch Cover Company, and it shows this little boy walking down the hall dragging his potty seat, and then he puts it ON the couch, and you see him kick off his diaper, and I think he climbs on the couch, if he doesn't, it does not matter, ya know what he's gonna do – all that is missing is him also carrying a newspaper…ha! anyway… then the commercial ends and all you see is the couch, and the man saying something about needing a new couch cover, and I am like "Couch Cover, how about a NEW COUCH!!!"

Kids are fun, unless they are all snotty and crying and well I can't go there, but when I saw this little video clip on U-Tube, this is Russ' a.k.a. Molly  son Noble (he is the one acting like the parent) and his little friend Will. I know a bit of the back story (gee don't that make me sound smart) anyway the back story is that Will came over to play and he throws a toy and Noble knows that that is not allowed in his house, so he goes to the closet and gets out the "Naughty Chair" and it is just too cute….here ya go…check it out for yourself.

It just reminds me of Eric when he was little running around in his diaper, that was 20 years ago. Geesh, where did the time go?

Thanks for stopping in and have a great Thursday.

Hugs, Di

Hi, my name is Diana Gibbs and I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 1999. I never imagined getting up and talking to people, I am deaf (I wear hearing aids) so talking to strangers has never been a fun thing for me. But put a rubber stamp in my hand and I will talk to anyone.

I hope you can find inspiration and learn new and exciting things while you are here. If there is ever anything you want me to teach you, just let me know!
