Well those of you that have been reading my blog, know who Toby is…those of you that don't here he is. He's a little Yorkie-Poo and he is more Yorkie then Poo. He turned a year in July.
I took this picture a while ago, now he won't sit still long enough for me to take a picture… unless…
…he is doing this, and this is his favorite place to sleep, on my chair. In fact even when he is awake he likes to sit here…
…see him back there? When he was little I could put him there and he would stay and only cry to be let down to go potty, now he can jump down, but he is a joy and so much fun. He plays with toys and growls, and shakes his head so hard with his toy in it, he has flung the toy on top of shelves, clear across the room, you would be amazed where I have found it.
He will even play ball with himself, he will toss it and go get it, one time he even put the ball in the toy box and got a different toy, he has not done it since so I think it was just a fluke, cause he does not help me put away stuff after classes. In fact, I can't have him out in my studio during classes cause he has a bit of a nervous pee issue when people come over. In November I will start him with obedience training and I hope that takes care of that.
Ok, enough Toby talk, (his head is growing with all the bragging) here is another card for class, this one I got the idea from Kathleenh over at Splitcoaststampers, I just changed it a bit.
Stamp Set: Holiday Trinkets, Holidays & Wishes
Paper: Chocolate Chip, Very Vanilla, Ruby Red, Baja Breeze, Old Olive
Ink: Ruby Red
Misc: Scallop Punch, Big Shot Basket and Blossom, (the bottom of the basket is the notched circle) White gel pen, Baja Breeze striped ribbon, Silver brad
Neat huh? I love when people think out of the box for things.
Well Eric wants me to make him a Chocolate Milk Shake before we watch The Shaggy Dog and he is twisting my "rubber arm" so I gotta go!
Thanks for stopping in!
Hugs, Di
Sometimes the nervous pee issue will go away as they mature. Our dog (female) did it for close to two years. We tried to have her go outside to greet people but we still had little accidents..it will clear up eventually.
What a little cutie!
Your notes and photos make me smile. I have a cat (who looks larger than Toby)who likes to sit behind me on my computer chair. Unfortunately they don't help much around the house either.
Wow!! What a great way to use that die!!!! Your card is very cute!
awww…what a cute little dog! 🙂 I am a total animal lover!
Hey girlie!! LOVE the pictures and stories of Toby (and of course, your stampin ideas!!). Good thing you have a small butt so Toby can fit behind you on that chair! HA!! Have fun! Melanie
Oh my goodness little Toby is absolutely a love!!!! What a sweetie!!!!!
