500 cards

This 'n' That

4 Sep

Yep, that's how many cards I need to cut, (for my first round anyway) for my Christmas card class.  This is my most popular class every year, and in fact it is one of the ones I have to repeat every year too, to make sure everyone can attend.

So I got all my cards figured out and my order placed today, now to wait for all my supplies and get crackin' cuttin'.

Here is one that everyone will be doing at class. It's hard to tell cause the picture does not do it justice, but there is heat and stick powder and then dazzling diamonds applied to the colored image. Everyone loves this technique and this set was perfect for it.

101020 Christmas 08 004 copyStamp Set: A Wish for Peace

Paper: Very Vanilla, Ruby Red, Chocolate Chip, Holiday Treasures DSP

Ink: Jetblack Stazon, Old Olive, Really Rust, Creamy Caramel, Bordering Blue

Misc: Chocolate Chip Stitched ribbon, Heat & Stick Powder, Dazzling Diamonds, Heat Gun

Turned out pretty eh? and so quick and easy!

Have a great Thursday, the weekend is almost here, where does the time go eh?

Thanks for stopping in!

Hugs, Di

WOW Diana this is very pretty. I can picture it now the snow gently falling as we leave the church on Christmas eve.
Do you miss the snow at Christmas?

This is so pretty Diana! I just love your work – you are such an inspiration! Can I ask you how you did the glitter over the church? I've never done anything like that! TFS!

I just love this technique so I know even though it's pretty here, it's even prettier in person. Lovely, lovely!

Gorgeous card Di! I've tried using heat and stick before but can never get it to work. I think I'll have to give it another try.

Hang in with your progressive glasses you will love them. If they still don't work for you by tomorrow go back to where you bought them you usually have a certain amount of time where they will adjust them. I find the biggest problem is if the near vision isn't fined tuned perfectly. So don't give up you will love them once you get use to them.!! theresa
