OK, three days in a row, doing a challenge from Splitcoaststampers…somebody stop me! This actually is not the latest "Ways to Use It Challenge", but I think it is the week before. But it was coloring! Tra!La!La!La! – that is me singing! So I did this instead, and it is not like there is a time limit on them…so what the hay!
I love love love this stamp set, I just wish he had some accessories…..pssst! Stampin' Up! hint! hint! Like a nice campfire, a tent, a flashlight, toilet paper, maybe a skunk, how about a lawn chair…I don't know but what the heck is he cookin' the beans over with no campfire? So I cut the stick off after I colored the can.
Recipe for card:
Stamp sets: Under the Stars, Lovely as a Tree, Itty Bitty Background
Ink: Jetblack Stazon, Riding Hood Red
Markers: Garden Green, Bordering Blue, Close to Cocoa, Chocolate Chip, Really Rust, Ruby Red, Bashful Blue, More Mustard, Sahara Sand
Paper: Chocolate Chip, Whisper White, Garden Green, Watercolor Paper
Misc: White gel pen, aqua painter
I also took a bunch of close-ups, cause after you make a card for 2 1/2 hours + you wanna show it off ya know.
Here is the side view so you can see all the dimension that it has. This was a fun little scene to create.
I stuck the raccoon behind the bear because he looks like has been up to no good, or he has been eating the beans already and is a little embarrassed about his "gas" problem. Indigestion, upset stomach, diarrhea, ya know that commercial…
See no stick on the can!
Now after seeing the huge skeeter flying around, I probably should have had him holding the spray can instead of the beans, but oh well…maybe the raccoon does have gas and he needed to hold the can away, saying "no more for you…peee-uuuuu"
Don't ya just love the bean eatin' grin on the bears face?
Here's the skeeter spray, down here by the sleeping bags.
I gotta tell you, this card was so much fun to make, and I love doing stuff like this.
I hope you like my little camping scene.
Thanks for stopping in, and TGIF!
Hugs, Di

Oh Diana this card is so cute and I would say fun but after 2 1/2 hours for one card is it still fun!
I thought this would be good for a scrapbook pages and cards for our Youth Group (my 14 year old son went too) who went up to Tamogamy, Ontario (8 hours north) to camp, canoe and of coarse hike. This stamp set says it all for this trip.
